P1 The argumentative essay, Can We Make Real, Transformative

Change in Education by Renee Owen, illustrates the issues
- Title caused by a sudden transformation in the education system
- Author due to Covid-19. The writer is optimistic and serious about how
- Tone badly it affects the people that are related to the school
- Stand system, and gives several reasons and a way to help for this
stand. This critical analysis will emphasis on transformation in
the system of education and how Transformative Educational
Leadership (TEL) is designed to prepare leaders to effectively
facilitate educational changed system.

P2 First and foremost, the author has given a few arguments

about this article. She strongly believes that the education
- Author's main arguments system’s downfall gives a big impact to not only children’s
- Supporting details mental health but also to people who work in the school
- Author's purpose of system such as teachers and educators. Moreover, she states
writing and intended that school systems are failing as they want to change to new
audience systems but are lacking in training the leaders perfectly which
only risks to leaders in distress. In this argument, she also
stresses that transformative learning is not easy, terrifying and
once it happens, there is no going back. The author elaborates
her view by thinking leaders should be trained and how TEL
can help them. It seems that the author is trying to convince
leaders to get involved so that they are extremely ready for the
changes in education and also attempt to inform readers how
great TEL is to educators.

P3 (analysis)- continue from P2 Next, the author has given clear evidence. She mentions that
TEL was created to help the educators and leaders. She
affirms that TEL offers some programmes to heal the trauma
that they are faced with. Furthermore, she supports her
statement as TEL recognizes that transforming educators is
much better than educators leaning into discomfort. This
analyzes TEL program indicates powerful results. Overall, the
author believes TEL really helps educators by giving
transformative learning techniques so that they can adapt to
the changes in education system. On top of that, to turn a real
good transformation into actions, it has to start from the inner
self. That is why TEL does a healing and therapeutic program
to leaders and educators.
P4 (Your personal view) In my personal view, I do agree with the author that claims that
TEL is a programme that does help educators to solve the
issues of sudden change in the education system. The author
also includes one of participants’ reviews after joining the
programme on how TEL changed her personally and
professionally which convinced me more. I would also add
that, no matter how they want to change the educational
system to a new one, it is lacking everywhere and only causes
concern to people, it would just be a waste of time.
Improvement will never erase inequities. In addition, I do agree
with the author on what are the after effects to leaders as the
new system wants strong visionary leaders.

P5 In conclusion, the author gives good reasons for her support of

impacts of the new educational system and her strong stand of
Transformative Educational Leadership (TEL) as it is a
programme that is full of learning and teaching strategies yet
does ease the minds of leaders and educators. I share the
same opinion as hers. However, the country should examine
more on the issues that are raised and look further into it. I
also believe TEL is one of the best ways to handle this issue.
Therefore, the educational system is important for both
children and educators.
