Disassemble TOC

with Electronically Actuated Injector

NOTE: The fuel pump is


manufactured using metric
fasteners. Use metric size tools
during disassembly and assembly
of the fuel pump.

Remove the fuel delivery pressure


sensor from the fuel pump.

NOTE: Older versions of the fuel


pump did not use a sealing
washer.

Plug the port in the fuel pump with a Previous


clean plastic plug.

Remove the sealing washer using a
magnet, and then discard it.

Remove the mechanical dump valve


from the fuel pump. Discard the o-
ring.

Plug the port in the fuel pump with a


clean plastic plug.
