I,mustafe Mohamoud possessed Diploma of Gender and Development from Jijiga TVET
College ,i also gratuated from Jijiga university with B.Sc degree of management.i have gained
9years of experiences with diferent roles and responsibilities.i worked as GBV assisstant officer
at Women and children Affairs bueruea(BOWCA) for one year. Also i worked as Gender and
development study instructor at Jijiga TVET college for 8 years.

I have strong community mobiliztion skill and excellent reporting skills and can communicate
orallly and on written way as well.

Work Experience
I. July 01,2012up to Oct,2013, worked as senior GBV assistant at WDRO in Jijiga
Main duties performed

• in consultation with the GBV officer, plan and implement psychosocial support activities at
the Women and Girls friendly space

• Provide direct supervision and support to GBV outreach workers

• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly work plans and reports in a timely manner to GBV
senior officer. .

• Lead the dissemination of key GBV messages through outreach sessions

• Work in collaboration with other GBV staff to ensure risk mitigation measures.

• Maintain positive coordination and relationship with government counterparts

• Monitor supply and logistics needs for women and girls friendly spaces psychosocial activities

• Contribute to a positive team spirit among all IMC staff.


• Take any other task designated by GBV senior officer to ensure proper functioning of the GBV
program

• Provides technical leadership to design and implement comprehensive approaches to include


women and youth in private sector intervention strategies, and develop pathways to hybrid
sunflower market system.

• Consults with companies, business enterprises, to understand their interests and ensure that
project interventions create opportunities that fit women and youth needs.

• Builds inclusive business cases to present to private sector companies in targeted sectors,
highlighting the benefits of engaging with women and youth in their businesses.

• Participate in market analyses to identify the unique constraints and opportunities for women
and youth in the identified market systems.
• Facilitate youth capacity building in basic market research and business skills, including how
to develop and customize business plans.

• Support the development of local authorities in implementing gender work at the community
level

• Assist in the identification of male champions from the project areas and provide means to
model community behaviour change through their influence.

• Collect and share learnings and best practices from the project and share with market actors,
Regional Authorities, Local Government Authorities, AMDT and within SNV.

• Work closely with the M&E Technical Lead to generate monitoring and analysis tools for
gender and youth interventions and to collect and analyze data

• Preparing and filling reports; implementation activities reports and periodic project narrative
reports.

1. Teach classes as assigned from the regular Social Justice Studies curriculum, including the
