Prerequisite

Outcome-related course learning objectives:

1. To understand the regulations relating to banking and its application


2. To know the practical knowledge of banking & Insurance laws and other related
business issues
3. To apply the knowledge of Banking law and to acquire in-depth knowledge of the role
of RBI BR Act, and SARFAESI Act in the Banking sector
4. To understand the working and efficacy of IRDA in the insurance sector

Course Outcome:

1. Students will be able to apply regulations in the banking & insurance sector for
internships and placements.
2. Students will be able to understand the issue and dishonour of cheque and penalties
3. Students will be able to analyse the working of RBI & IRDA in the regulation of the
banking / insurance sector
