1 GENERAL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This manual describes the operation of the power boards which control the functions of our next generation idro stoves. In
Idro stoves a pump makes water from the boiler circulate as soon as its temperature is higher than the minimum value set by
the application while the room temperature and water probes regulate stove power adjustment.
The following is a general list of all the inlets and outlets managed by the board

POWER SUPPLY
Power supply voltage 230Vca ± 15% 50/60Hz
Max consumption (excluding control panel and users) 50 mA

Max consumption (control panel connected excluding users) 55 mA

1 The board has the control panel connection. The board has been realised adopting all protection as required by EMC
norms and on safety for the purposes of EC certification.
2 A weekly timer-thermostat is combined, customised by stove switch-on.
3 An infra-red remote control is supplied. By using the 4 buttons it is possible to manage 6 separate functions.
4 The power board has a serial connection which works on our protocol. On request it is possible to supply the connec-
tion cable which allows the following functions to be performed: remote switch-on and switch-off, loading opera-
tional parameters from PC, semi-automatic testing from PC, etc.
5 A container for the power board is supplied

3.1 CONTROL PANEL

The control panel displays the information concerning the stove's operative status. By accessing the menu it is possible
to obtain various types of display and carry out the available settings according to the level of access.
According to the working mode, displays may assume different meanings depending on the position on the display.

3.2 ALARM SIGNALLING

Below is a summary of the alarms which may activate during operation

AL 1 – Black out This alarm activates when the stove is disconnected from the mains.
How to intervene
- Bring the stove to idle state by pressing the off key for a few moments (4).

AL 2 – Probe exhaust This alarm signals that the smoke probe is broken (see section 10.1. of the instruction
manual).

AL 3 – Hot exhaust This alarm signals excessive smoke outlet temperature (see section 10.2. of the instruction
manual).

AL 4 – Fan Failure
This alarms signals that the control board has not read the number of revolutions of the
smoke expulsion motor. It may activate both due to the motor breaking and due to a fault in
connections between the revolution reader (encoder) in the motor and the board.
How to intervene
- Bring the stove to idle state by pressing the off key for a few moments (4).
- Call an assistance centre

AL 5 – No lightin- This alarm signals that the stove has not lit. The alarm activates when the maximum set waiting
time is exceeded (about 20 minutes) and the stove has failed to light. (see section 10.3 of the
instruction manual).

AL 6 – No pellet This alarm signals no flame in the grate when the stove is operating normally. The main causes
are: no pellets are left in the tank or the pellet hopper is blocked.

How to intervene
- Bring the stove to idle state by pressing the off key for a few moments (4).
- Empty the grate of all pellets that have accumulated and are not burnt.
- If there are no pellets in the tank, refill the stove and restart it.
- In the event of a blockage in the pellet hopper, empty the tank and remove any foreign bodies
in the hopper. Then reload the pellet and restart the stove.
- If the hopper is repeatedly blocked, call a centre of assistance.

7 1010 - 1
AL 7 – Safety thermal This alarm is activated by the intervention of the safety thermostat in the stove's boiler (see
section 10.6 of the instruction manual).

AL 8 – Failure depress This alarm is activated by the depressurisation sensor (pressure gauge) (see section 10.5 of the
instruction manual).

AL 9 – Probe water This alarm is activated by breakage or disconnection of the boiler water probe

AL A – Hot water This alarm is activated by overtemperature of the water in the boiler (see section 10.6 of the
instruction manual).

AL b – Press water This alarm is activated by incorrect pressure of the water in the boiler (see section 10.8 of the
instruction manual).

4.2 Smoke probe calibration

The boards in the I0XX series include a new function linked to smoke temperature probe calibration.
In order to carry out calibration it is sufficient, once the probe is connected, to access the technical menu (menu 9) “SET-
TINGS TECHNIC" and access it using a password: F9.
The value on the display represents the temperature read by the smoke probe and the temperature read by the room
temperature probe. Use keys P1 and P2 (increase and decrease temperature) to match the first value to the temperature
read by the room temperature probe.
