Subject: Water Discharge Permit Authorisation
Dear Alex,
Please could you authorise your name to be used on a water discharge permit application for Wylfa
132kV Cable Project.
We need to apply for the permit as we have surpassed our 3 month period of being able to discharge
water from our excavations and the project is taking longer than initially expected,
The application is for a temporary discharge consent for untreated surface water to be discharged to
ground to facilitate the construction/diversion of oil filled cables for the new Wylfa Power Station.
The discharge is rainfall which has entered our excavations/work areas and requires discharge to
surrounding land to facilitate us in completing our works. Water shall be pumped using a four-inch
Pump to the surrounding fields as identified on the Water Discharge Drawing, Controls are in place to
monitor this discharge.
| have attached form Part F2 which will have your name on and by signing this you agree that to the
best of your knowledge the information is accurate ~ | am happy with what has been submitted to
NRW.
kind RegardsSarah Steen
