We need to apply for the permit as we have surpassed our 3 month period of being able to discharge water from our excavations and the project is taking longer than initially expected, The application is for a temporary discharge consent for untreated surface water to be discharged to ground to facilitate the construction/diversion of oil filled cables for the new Wylfa Power Station. The discharge is rainfall which has entered our excavations/work areas and requires discharge to surrounding land to facilitate us in completing our works.
