Indian Association of Occupational Health, Vadodara (IAOH Vadodara)
is a Not profit Association of Industrial Physicians and Factory Medical officers with an objective to promote Occupational Health in Gujarat. IAOH Vadodara is one of the active branches of National IAOH and has a membership strength of 240 members. Founded in 1968, IAOH Vadodara has a successful track record for organising National Conferences for five times in last Seven decades (1955, 1970, 1980, 1990 and 2011) The Branch has bagged BEST IAOH Branch award for Four times (2005, 2010, 2013, 2017) in last eighteen years. In line with its objectives, IAOH Vadodara successfully planned and conducted two state Level Conferences GUJCON-2016 and GUJCON-2022 with participation of 189 and 456 participants respectively. It organised the first e v e r M e d i c a l Co n fe r e n ce fo r p a r a m e d i c s a n d m e d i c a l a s s i s t a n t s – GUJPARAMED-2015 with 186 participants from all over Gujarat. Keeping in mind the need of Industries, IAOH Vadodara conceptualized a six consecutive Sundays training for orienting and training Paramedics and medical assistants. Since its inception in 2004, IAOH Vadodara has conducted 51 batches of Medical Assistance Course in Occupational Health Center (MACOHC) has trained 1024 Personnel from more than 230 industries of Gujarat...............................................................................................
