There are two potential scenarios when restoring the instrument files. See the options below and identify
which scenario is applicable. Then proceed to step 6.
Maindata.accdb C:\IMMULITE2000\Databases
Errorlog.accdb C:\IMMULITE2000\Databases
Motorfig.accdb C:\IMMULITE2000\Diagconfig
For instruments not running the latest software version, default databases must be used. Once the
software is upgraded to the version of the databases, the original instrument files can be restored as
shown in ( Windows 7 ITOX Motherboard / DCIM-B02.892.07.04.02). Refer to ( Windows 7 ITOX
Motherboard / DCIM-B02.892.07.04.02) for the location of the default database files and ( Windows 7
ITOX Motherboard / DCIM-B02.892.07.04.02) for the file destination to upgrade the system.
6. Log on to the Windows operating system. Wait for the “System Settings Change” message to appear and
follow the instructions to restart the computer.

Your finger must remain pressed at the blinking symbol until it stops for calibration to continue. The
rings will pulse with a red color and then stop once the point has been calibrated. The touch screen
calibration process will begin in the lower-left corner of the monitor and complete in the upper-left
corner.
The following procedure is necessary if the control-side single board computer includes a serial cable
connection to interface with a VersaCell system. This process will ensure that the correct IML files are
sent to the control side and that the user-side software registry is marked as Automation Ready. This
ensures that future software upgrades will identify the hardware setup and install the corresponding
files accordingly.
c. Type c1rrus using a number and lower case letters and then press OK.
The utility will transfer files to the control-side BIN directory, update the Windows registry key, and
reboot the control-side computer when complete.
23. Define the operational ranges for the SPIN.IML and POSITION.IML:
a. From the Diagnostics menu, click Motor Configurations and Slave 4 to access the wash spinner.
b. Highlight Wash Speed and confirm that the current value is set to 7000 rpm.
c. If not set to 7000 rpm, right-click the Wash Speed option to calibrate to the desired speed.
d. Click Make .IML Files to create and/or update the POSITION.IML on the control side.
Steps e) through m) are for systems operating on software version 5.7 only. If the system is operating
on software version 6.3a or later, continue to step 17.
g. Clear the Close on Exit check box and then click OK.
A window will display the configuration values and acceptable operational ranges.
k. Navigate to the c:\Immulite2000\Diagnostics\IML folder, click SPIN.IML, and then click Open.
l. Click the Send to Bin Directory option and then click OK.
24. Place the instrument in full run mode to ensure a successful initialization and operation.
a. If the instrument is equipped with a printer, refer to the appropriate printer driver and installation
procedure. Depending on the printer in use, ensure that the appropriate printer is selected and delete
any other printer selections that may exist. Supported printer drivers are located in the
C:\Setup\Printers folder.
b. If the instrument is connecting to SRS/syngo, refer to the Product Information Portal for the SRS or
syngo CB-DOC.
3. Navigate to the Configurations screen and verify that the instrument identification and information is
correct.
5. Navigate to the C:\Backup_Files folder and confirm that instrument files are archived.
6. To complete the upgrade, as necessary, update the system software to the latest software version available.
