INTRODUCTION

Sea King Marine Services Ltd was established back in 2007 with a view to serving the world by
providing world-class seafarers. Now Sea King Marine is the leading ship’s crew service provider in
Bangladesh. It supplies crews to the different parts of the world according to client’s needs. The
motto that Sea King Marine works for is to maintain the flows of standard and finest crews to the
client’s ships.

Successful ship management depends mostly on competence, system, crew, staff & personnel and
the right blend of experience. “Sea King Marine Services Ltd” does exactly the same to its clients to
provide optimum desirable outcome for the both sides.

Sea King Marine Services Ltd began its journey in January 2007. Currently it is working as a crew
management company providing our customers all kinds of crew managements and logistic
supports like technical solutions, supply of provisions, spare parts, deck & engine stores, lube oils
and other supports on demand.

Sea King Ltd is focused exclusively on high quality and sufficiently experienced crews to different
kinds of vessels like bulks, containers, oil & chemical tankers but in a very cost-effective way to the
ship management companies and the key is we provide the service in the due time even in the
shortest notice. We are advancing on a tremendous pace and with involvement of skilled and
experienced hands involved in the organization, to make the company a “One Stop Solution” center.

Sea King Marine Services Ltd is registered in Dept of Shipping, Bangladesh and certified by “Bureau
Veritas” and ISO 9001:2008 by RINA.

Over 500 crews are currently working in different ship of the world in different companies and
more 600 crews are ready to join in different ships by Sea King Marine Services Ltd. These numbers
are accelerating day by day.

management agency in Bangladesh.

 2009 –
 Formed a sister concern company named “SeaTech Ltd” to provide technical
services to the local marine industry.
 Started successfully supply crew to different local and international
managements.
 Focused on quality crew arrangement in time.

 2010 –
 Started necessary training program for crew to prepare efficient hands according
to STCW implemented by SOLAS.
 Focused on cost effective crew management system to make our clients
benefited.

 2011 –
 Perform diagnostics for our lacking in service section and reviewed with clients to
exchange service standard ideas. Actions were adopted as required.
 Started necessary licensing and certifications for providing ship agency service in
any port of Bangladesh.

 2012 –
 Collaborated with some IMO recognized training institutes, SKMS started
conducting some exclusive trainings for the seafarers to enhance their ability.
 Successfully provided ship agency services to the ships calling Bangladeshi ports.

 2013 –
 The company was certified by “Bureau Veritas”
 The company was invited in China to attend a seminar by “Quanzhou Normal
University” and signed several agreements with different Chinese Ship
Management companies.

 2014 –
 SKMS was certified by ISO 9001:2008 by RINA.
 Enhanced relationship with different standard principals of the world and
considered as one of the leading crew management company in Bangladesh.

 2016 –
 SKMS started offering one stop marine solution. With its sister concerns, “Sea
Agents”, “Sea Logistics” and “SeaTech”, Sea King Marine Services Ltd offered all in
one solution in all Bangladeshi ports. Thus “Sea King Group” stepped on greater
circumferences.

 SKMS reviewed company quality policy and services with its clients and adopted
necessary measures.

 2018 –
 SKMS developed the unique idea of “Sea Store” which is a marine e-market and
provides a one click solution of all marine requirements.

OUR INVOLVEMENT

 Crew Management

Our crew management package is designed to relieve the owner from any workload related

to the manning of vessels. Our lump sum crew cost concepts long term stability in cost center

which reduce a large percentage of vessels operating costs. This lump sum concept provides

guaranteed single fixed monthly fee and thus eliminating uncertainty and unexpected increases

in manning budget of ship’s owner. It also reduces the administrative paper work and expense of

processing disbursements & vouchers. Our lump sum management package includes –

 Crew recruitment and procedure for joining ship and repatriating crew.

 Payment of wages and leave with overtime, service bonuses etc. of officers and crews. Also

portage bill scrutiny and payments to meet owners requirements.

 Proper qualification and certification of crews.

 Medical examination and fitness certificates.

 Conduct/ arrange advance training courses.

 Arrange all travel logistics for seafarers including visa, flight tickets and travel advice etc.

 Arrange flag state license for all seafarer.

 Implementation and follow up of drug and alcohol policies.

 Crew P&I insurance as well as handling of respective claims.

Moreover, if any ship’s owner and principal company instructs us of any partial crew recruitment/

manning, for any specific ship, then we also do so. For that we have gigantic database comprising

of efficient and experienced seafarers of all ranks. All selection procedures are operated by

maritime personnel, so that competent guys are only selected for any specific ships.

 Travel & VISA Supports

Our experienced travel division is fully equipped for making visa arrangements and travel
bookings for signing seafarers and their families on and off.

Our visa services include securing and expediting travel visas, tourist visas and business visas
for the seafarers, shore office personnel etc for travelling to and from foreign countries.

With our associated offices located worldwide, our travel divisions are well represented to
handle complex visa requirements of all nations.

 Training & Certification

SKMS arranges relevant all training, certification and documentations for seafarers before
joining ship. We are strictly complying the IMO and STCW 2010 rules and regulations. SKMS has an
agreement with Bangladesh marine academy and it is fully equipped with state of art resources
including bridge and engine room simulators and also ECDIS. All STCW as per 2010 manila
amendments are also being conducted here and those are duly approved by department of
shipping.

We are also performing as local filling agent of panama maritime authority, for panama
documentation in Bangladesh. Moreover, our all training program, certification and documentation
are operated by the software system ‘shipmate’, which is easy to use and highly configurable
