    Minutes of the 3rd BOS Meeting held on 03.01.2024, 02.30 pm at Annapoorana
    Engineering College:

    At the onset the chairman welcomed the members to Third Board of Studies and placed
    the agenda for the deliberation of the members. After detailed discussions and review the
    following resolutions were made in respect of the submitted agenda:

    Agenda 1:

    Approving curriculum of R-2022 for B.E. Electrical and Electronics Engineering


    Degree course.
     It is resolved to include the “Introduction of Tamil Courses” with credit in the curriculum
    R-2022 with reference to Anna University Circular dated 1.3.23. (Annexure-I)

    Agenda 2:

    Approving syllabus of courses of I Year B.E. that are related to Electrical and
    Electronics Engineering board.
     It is resolved to approve the syllabus for the “Introduction of Tamil Courses” with
    reference to Anna University Circular dated 1.3.23. (Annexure-I)

    Agenda 3:

    Approving Curriculum and syllabus of R-2022 III and IV Semester Electrical and
    Electronics Engineering board.
     It is resolved to continue the syllabus of R-2022 III and IV Semester.

    Agenda 4:

    Approving Curriculum and syllabus of R-2022 V and VI Semester Electrical and


    Electronics Engineering board.
    With reference to the above agenda, following points were recommended by the members:
     The Committee suggested to swap the following courses,

     The Committee suggested to update the following courses in PG Curriculum,

    1. Design and Analysis of Advanced Embedded Processor and Controller
    Power Converters
    2. Analysis and Design of Inverters Switched mode power conversion

     Need to provide revised/recent editions of Text book and reference book while
    framing syllabus.
    Finally it is resolved to recommend the syllabus of courses of III Year B.E. and II
    Semester M.E. that are related to Electrical and Electronics Engineering board presented
    before this board under the regulation 2022 – CBCS for necessary approval in Academic
    Council.

    Agenda 5:

    Adopting the Curriculum and syllabus of Anna University Regulation 2021 for VI
    Semester. (For the Students admitted during the academic year 2021-22).
     It is resolved to continue the curriculum R-2021.

    Agenda 6:

    Adopting the Curriculum and syllabus of Anna University Regulation 2017 for VIII
    Semester. (For the Students admitted during the academic year 2020-21).
     It is resolved to continue the curriculum R-2017.
    The above suggestions given by the members are will be incorporated in our curriculum

    under Regulation 2022.
