1 Precaution
When performing troubleshooting and part replacement during
servicing, note the following safety precautions:
§1.1 Safety Precautions
1-1-1. Use Genuine Parts
The components of the washing machine have safety features such as non-
combustibility and voltage withstanding. Therefore, always use the same
part as suggested by the maker. In particular, be sure to use only
designated parts in case of major safety parts identified by the marker.
1-1-2. Grounding
Connect the grounding wire to the shell plate, and bury it under at least
25cm of earth : alternatively, connect the ground wire to the appropriate
pin on a properly grounded power receptacle. Never connect the wire to a
telephone line, lightning rod, or gas pipe.
§1.2 Servicing Precautions
1-2-1. Observe Warnings
Be sure to follow special warning and precautions that are described on
part labels and in the owner's manual.
1-2-2. Parts Assembly and Wiring
Be sure to use insulation material (such as tube and tape). And be sure to
restore all parts and wires to their original position. Take special care to
avoid contact with sharp edges.
1-2-3. Perform Safety Checks after Servicing
After servicing, check to see that the screws, parts, and wiring are restored
to their original positions, and
check the insulation between the external metals and the socket plug. In
addition, place the washing machine
in a level position (less than 1(one) degree) to prevent vibration and noise
during operations.
1-2-4. Insulation Checks
Pull out the plug from the power receptacle, pour water into the spin tub,
and then set the timer. Check to see
that the resistance insulation between the terminals of the plug and the
externally exposed metal is greater than 1M• .
Note :When it is impossible to perform insulation check with a 500V
insulation resistance tester, use other
testers for inspection.

F8 error is the water level sensor problem, please check if the pressure pipe
bent or not, and if it has the air leakage problem,if not,it should be the wiring
loose, power off, then ask your service team to check if the connector of PCB
and water level sensor assembled well.

5 TROUBLESHOOTING
Causes Explanation
Check the power at the electrical outlet which the
washer is plugged into. Plug a lamp or radio into the
Incoming Power Problem
outlet to check it. If the outlet is dead, check the circuit
breakers or fuses for the home.
If power supply is OK, the power cord itself might be
Power Cord defective. This is rare. You can check the power cord
with an Ohm meter for continuity.
If the washer won't start the line fuse might have blown,
Line Fuse or the line fuse holder might be damaged and need to
be replaced.
20
5 TROUBLESHOOTING
Causes Explanation
Water inlet valve If the water pressure is good, try cleaning the screens
(The voltage on the water inside the water inlet valve hose connection ports. If
inlet valve is normal) those are clean replace the water inlet valve.

5 TROUBLESHOOTING
Causes Explanation
If the washer won't agitate this agitator repair kit may solve
Agitator or Impeller Kit the problem. The kit contains the components that wear out
over time. This is a relatively easy repair.
Main Control If the washer won't Agitate the main control board might be
Board(PCB) defective.
23
5 TROUBLESHOOTING
Causes Explanation
It's common for small socks or other small clothing items to
get into the water drain system and clog the hose leading to
Clogged drain valve or
drain valve or the drain valve itself. Remove the hoses from
Hose
the drain valve in order to remove the article of clothing
before replacing the drain valve.
The lid switch assembly might be defective. This is a very
common problem. The lid switch assembly can fail either
Door or Lid Latch
mechanically or electrically. Test any electrical switches with
Assembly
an Ohm meter for continuity. The switches should have
continuity according to their design.
Retractor is consisted of motor and traction system, it can
drive the drain valve to drain water, and at the same time
Retractor control the clutch to achieve the conversion from washing
to spinning operation. If the washer won't drain, should
check the retractor.
If the water level control switch is defective, or more
commonly, if the small air pipe attached to the air bell
comes off, there will no longer be pressure in the hose
pushing on the air tight diaphragm in the water level
Water level sensor or control switch. The switch will not be able to close the
control switch electrical contacts to the drain valve.
CHECK THE AIR PIPE
CHECK THE WATER LEVERL SENSOR
CHECK THE PCB and the inner wire between PCB and the
sensor

5 TROUBLESHOOTING
Causes Explanation
Won't drain SEE 5.5 Washer Won't drain or some abnormal noise
25
5 TROUBLESHOOTING
Causes Explanation
If the washer won't spin the motor coupling might have failed.
The motor coupling connects the motor to the washer
Motor Coupling
transmission. It is designed to fail if the washer is overloaded
in order to protect both the motor and transmission.
If the washer won't spin, check the drive belt. If the belt is
Drive Belt(V-BELT) broken or if it isn't tight on the pulleys the washer won't spin
properly.
If the washer won't spin the PCB also might be defective. The
motor control board provides power to the motor as well as
Main Control Board(PCB)
direction and force. If the motor control board is defective
the washer may not work at all or function properly.
