INTRODUCTION TO INDUSTRIAL ARTS 1
First Semester A.Y: 2023-2024
Mission : To strengthen its capacity by producing highly skilled, competent, and world – class human resources, responsible to
fulfil stakeholder needs, goals of the national development and ASEAN integration, for the attainment of a good quality of life with the guidance and
providence of God.
University Goals : Make PIT an educational institution where students get trained to excel in their areas of specialization through quality instruction, development – oriented
research and need – oriented extension and production programs for accelerated socio – economic development and improve quality of life in Northwestern
Leyte communities, the region and the country.
Program Outcomes:
PO1. Demonstrate the competencies required of the Philippine TVET Trainers- Assessors Qualifications Framework (PTTQF);
PO2. Demonstrate broad, meaningful and coherent knowledge and skills in any of the specific fields in technology and livelihood education;
PO3. Apply with minimal supervision specialized knowledge and skills in any of the specific fields in technology and livelihood education;
PO4. Demonstrate higher level literacy, communication, numeracy, critical thinking, learning skills needed for higher learning;
PO5. Manifest a deep and principled understanding of the learning processes and the role of the teacher in facilitating these processes in their students;

E. Course Requirements
1. Active participation in class discussion. The students are expected to display collaborative efforts in the class discussion.
2. Oral and written reports on the assigned topics. Presents the oral reports assigned on the scheduled dates.
3. A term project. The students are expected to submit at least two projects during the semester.
4. Term Examination. This is such an evaluative measure on the learning of every student.
