book that says so much about who we are and why we are here. The Unhealed Healer 20 The ego's
plan for forgiveness. References to God and the Holy Spirit run throughout the book. After doing
only 34 lessons, I'm rereading the text and am getting it. The course, as I know it, does not bear
Helen Shucman's name, as it does on Goodreads. It does aim, however, at removing the blocks to the
awareness of love's presence, which is your natural inheritance. For me within the first 3 weeks of the
exercises the changes have been enormous. And it does so in a most exquisitely poetic, sensitive and
yet piercing manner. The book is divided into three sections: the Text, the Workbook, and the Manual
for Teachers. Clearly, the sometimes Christian language of the Course has the potential to disorient
some New Thought readers.
Considering the way Christianity is experienced in some parts of America this book may contribute
to a more open and loving way of living. But the framework is not one of a definitive position or
thesis. The course does not aim at teaching the meaning of love, for that is beyond what can be
taught. The early lessons are examined to illustrate how Jesus develops this theme of the illusory
nature of the external world. The opposite of love is fear, but what is all-encompassing can have no

not very often we come across a book that says so much about who we are and why we are here. It
has been listed by a compiler trying to define propagandistic or tyrannical literature. I fully agree
with the other reviewer that this book is not something you read, but rather live. It includes, either in
its main body or in appendices, those approximately forty-five thousand words that had been
removed in the original published edition. I initially joined a year-long study group going through the
Workbook to help me understand it. At the beginning of ACIM, it states that it is a course in
psychology, and I am into pyschology since our thinking is who we are. Error: Try Again Ok Sell

that you are doing in A Course In Miracles. We humans could not understand the awesome
universality of Heaven's true Love. Pass it on to peace workers and your enlightened friends. Life

take you back abit. I've read it a couple dozen times over the last 25 years and still read it daily. The
