General Instructions:
1. This paper is divided into two Parts: A and B. All questions are compulsory.
2. Part A contains objective questions from Question No. 1 to 20, which are to be
attempted first on Microsoft Forms by clicking on the link given below.
The time allotted for these questions is 30 minutes i.e. from 8:00 am to 8:30 am.
3. Part B contains subjective questions from Question No. 21 to 30, which are to
be answered on the Monday test sheets/ruled sheets.
4. The PDF of the answer script should be uploaded on the link given below
the last question.
PART A
Question numbers 1 to 20 carry 1 mark each
PART B
General Instructions:
1. Part B comprises 3 sections - A, B and C.
2. There are 10 questions in Part B. All questions are compulsory.
3. Section A – Question no. 21 to 24 carry 2 marks each.
Section B – Question no. 25 to 28 carry 3 marks each.
Section C – Question no. 29 and 30 carries 5 marks each.
4. There is no overall choice in the question paper. However, an internal choice
has been given in one question of 2 marks, one question of 3 marks and one
question of 5 marks. Only one of the choices in such questions have to be
attempted.
5. Draw a column on the right-hand side of the answer sheet for rough work.
23. The area of a trapezium is 320 m2 . If the two parallel sides are 17 m and 15 m,
then find the height of the trapezium.
24. Using a suitable identity, find the value of 104 × 96.

Find the product : (2𝑥 + 5)(2𝑥 − 7)

25. If ABCD is a parallelogram, then find the measure of 𝑥, 𝑦 and 𝑧. (Give reasons).
27. The shape of a park is rectangular in the middle and semi-circular at the ends as

29. In the rhombus given alongside, diagonals meet at O. If ∠ABO = 53° and
∠ACB = 37°, then find the measure of the
following angles. (Give reasons).
a) ∠OAB
b) ∠DAC
c) ∠ADC
30. The length, breadth and height of a cuboid are in the ratio 3 : 2 : 1 respectively.
If the total surface area of the cuboid is 198 m2, then find
a) the dimensions of the cuboid.
b) the volume of the cuboid.
OR
An oil tank is in the shape of a cylinder. The radius of its base is 3.5 m and its
height is 12 m. Find
a) the total surface area of the tank.
b) the quantity of oil that can be stored in the tank.
