Victor: "You monster! You killed my brother! Stay away from me! You are the source of all my suffering!"
Creature: "Suffering? How can you speak of suffering when you are the one who created me? I longed for
companionship, for acceptance, for a place in this world. But all I found was fear, hatred, and rejection. I
am good and full of love. Only suffering makes me do bad things. Everyone was horrified when they saw
me. I found a cabin where I could hide and watch the family who lived there. The family was very poor.
They were kind. I liked to help them. I learned by watching and listening to them. I was happy when I
learned how to speak. Then I could tell them how good I was. I read a book and found out how I was
created. I was very angry at my creator, Dr. Frankenstein because he made me so ugly. And when I finally
decided to talk to the family in the cabin. They got scared and attacked me. I hate myself. I hate all men.
Creature: Doctor, if only I had a friend, I would be happy. Then I wouldn’t do these awful things!
Victor listens in disbelief, his heart softening as he hears the monster's plea for understanding.
Victor: "I will do whatever it takes to undo the harm I have caused”
Victor: "I believe in your capacity for good. Together, we will find a way. Promise, I will make you a bride”
[SCENE 4]
Victor: What have I done? I cannot allow this to happen. I cannot create another race of monsters.
Monster: NOOOOOOOOO! MY BRIDEE! I will make you pay, Victor. I will make you feel the same pain and
loneliness that you have inflicted upon me.

Victor: (To Captain Walton) I have traveled far and wide, Captain, searching for a creature that has
brought me nothing but sorrow. I was blinded by ambition, I thought I could conquer death, but I only
created a creature that has brought nothing but suffering to the world. I am dying, captain. Promise to
give justice to those who died.
[As Victor's life draws to a close, he entrusts Captain Walton with the task of ensuring the monster's
destruction.]
Captain Walton: (Confronting the monster) You have brought nothing but pain and suffering to the world.
Your reign of terror ends here.
Monster: (In a voice filled with remorse) I have done terrible things, Captain. I have caused so much pain.
I wish I could undo it all.
Captain Walton: (Witnessing the monster's genuine remorse, feels a pang of sympathy) You cannot undo
the past, monster, but you can choose to make amends.
[The monster, overwhelmed by guilt and regret, vanishes into the darkness, seeking solitude and
atonement for his sins.]
