The world is a very big place. It is made up of all the people, places and nature
on Earth. A community is a group of people living in the same place. There are
small communities such as schools, neighborhoods, and cities. A global
community includes the whole world. Everyone who lives on the planet Earth is
part of this community. There are over 7 billion people in the world!

Continents are very large areas of land. There are 7 continents on Earth. They are:
Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, and Australia. These
continents are all part of the global community. Each continent is its own community as
well.
Continents vary in size and population. Population is the number of people living in a
specific area. For example, Australia is the smallest continent in the world. Its
population is about 25 million. Asia is the largest continent. Over 4 billion people live in
Asia.

Brazil is home to over 210 million people. Within the borders of Brazil, there are various

federal district, each with its own unique characteristics and local communities.
