We offer thanks to the presence of Allah SWT because thanks to His


abundant grace and guidance alone, we were able to complete the paper with
the title: How To Make An Effectif Poster.
May peace and blessings continue to be poured out upon the Prophet
Muhammad SAW,his family, friends and followers until the last day.

Based on guidance and suggestions from friends, this paper was prepared,
hopefully this paper can be useful for all of us in fulfilling the assignments of
the Arabic language course and hopefully everything contained in this paper
can be useful for the writer and readers in order to develop scientific treasures.
This paper is presented specifically with the aim of providing direction and
guidance so that those who read it can create more meaningful things.

The more strikingly visual your presentation is, the more people will
remember it. And more importantly, they will remember you.(Paul Arden)
Purpose of an poster to display information in a clear, concise manner,
while generating interest to engage in a discussion. a big piece of paper (or wall-
mounted monitor) that can communicate your research at a conference, and is
composed of a short title, an introduction to your burning question, an overview
of your novel approach, your amazing results in graphical form, some insightful
discussion of aforementioned results, a listing of previously published articles that
are important to your research, and some brief acknowledgement of the tremendous
assistance and financial support conned from others" (Purrington 2014)

2.1 Purpose of an academic poster


Purpose of an poster to display information in a clear, concise manner,
while generating interest to engage in a discussion. a big piece of paper (or wall-
mounted monitor) that can communicate your research at a conference, and is
composed of a short title, an introduction to your burning question, an
overview of your novel approach, your amazing results in graphical form, some
insightful discussion of aforementioned results, a listing of previously published
articles that are important to your research, and some brief acknowledgement of

2.5 Preparing your poster keep in mind :

• Characteristic sections with expected information

• Consult rules of conference/rubrics

• Work in collaboration w/ research sponsor

• Decide on experiments that will be presented

• Create a storyboard/plan

• Visually appealing

• Primarily image driven but stand alone

• Simply and tightly written

• Know what to say for each figure

• Transitions between sections

• Practice for your audience

• KNOW all details of project

• No smaller than 16 pt. Font
