JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title Document Controller
Reporting To Lead DCC – QA/QC
Assistance -
In Absence Replaced By Nominated DCC
 Responsible for overall coordination of controlled
documentation within the company.
 Maintains tracking system.
 Assist in supporting external audits, coordinating activities
and ensuring timely response to documentation requests
for auditors.
 Develop electronic filing and archive system and technical
library for easy to issuance, storage, retrieval and
management of documents
 Provide full admin support to the team
 Prepare, operate and update Document Control
Procedures in line with the Company’s Document
Management System.
 Ensure proper document control support is given to each
Main Responsibilities project.
 Produce and maintain Document Progress Reports to
Project Managers.
 Work in strict co-operation with the Project Manager to
ensure project progress status integration.
 Maintains quality records per applicable SOPs.
 Investigates and responds to corrective actions related to
Document Control
 Attends all the company-organised training courses when
invited.
 Development of ILF UAE capability by assisting in the
training of staff.
 Be aware of and obey the Company Health, Safety and
Environmental, and Quality rules & perform the activities
as per IMS.
 Possess good knowledge in document control and
management processes.
Competency Requirements
 Pleasant personality, with good written/verbal
communication and interpersonal skills
 Should be familiar with ISO procedures and

documentations
 Mature, proactive, take initiative and well organized
 Systematic and able to work under pressure
 Detail-oriented, dependable and trustworthy.
 Meticulous and able to follow through with tasks promptly
 Able to work independently as well as in a team
 Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Words and
PowerPoint) is a must and knowledge in using document
control software is advantageous
Min 3 - 4 years relevant experience in a similar role in
Document control and record management in an MNC
Experienced Technical
environment, preferably in Offshore Marine/Construction/Oil
and Gas companies
Experience Managerial Not Applicable
Education Graduate in any discipline.

Linguistic Skills English Mandatory.
