Title: Factors Affecting Academic Performance of Students of
Mangaldan National High School in New Normal Education

Our country’s transition from traditional learning to distance

learning has been a huge issue. This study was designed to determine
the Causes and Effects of Learner's Cheating Practices During Modular
Learning of Mangaldan National High School in new normal education.
Specifically, it sought to answer questions with regards to the main
problem of the study. This research employed quantitative research
method using descriptive quantitative research. It involved ages 18-21
with the count of 75, 17-18 with the count of 3 and 21 and above with
the count of 2, with 80 respondents overall are conducted by the
researchers’ study. The respondents were asked to answer a
questionnaire through an online survey form. Furthermore, the cluster
has more male students than females. There are various factors that
affect the Causes and Effects of Learner's Cheating Practices During
Modular Learning. These factors include temptation due to unmonitored
environment, everyone does cheat, pressured to attain perfection, afraid
to disappoint their parents, peer pressure. This study also concluded
that there is significant relationship between the factors affecting the
academic performance across the respondent’s age, gender, however
there is no significant relationship in socio-economic status. However,
there is a significant difference between the factors affecting the Causes
and Effects of Learner's Cheating Practices During Modular Learning.
