    SCRIPT FOR THE OPENING CEREMONY OF ENGLISH WEEK

    Bismillahirrahmanirrahim... thank you to our Honourable Head Master,


    En Yusof bin Ismail , dedicated senior assistant teachers, caring
    teachers and and all our beloved friends.

    ASSALAMUALAIKUM AND A VERY GOOD MORNING I BID


    TO ALL OF YOU..

    Also, thank you to the Al-Mighty Allah Subhanahu Wataala, because


    with his blessings, we are here today for the opening ceremony of the
    ENGLISH WEEK OF SK SRI SURIA 2!!!

    For you all information, I Nur Aina Balqis Binti Mohamad Razak will
    be the master of the ceremony for today’s event.
    Now, we are going to sing the National Anthem, State song and school
    song.
    Members of the floor , please stand up.
    Thank you to all of you for respecting all the songs. Now you may sit
    down.

    Before we start our ceremony, I would like to invite Mohamad Danish


    Umar bin Azwathir to recite the prayers. Please welcome.
    Thank you Danish. I hope our ceremony will be in His Blessing
    InsyaAllah.
    As we know, today is the beginning of the English Week and HIP for
    our school. English week is held in our school in order to encourage the
    students to use English more frequent in our daily routine. For your
    information, this program will be held the whole week, starting from
    today until Thursday. During this programme, many interesting
    activities will be held such as Spelling, Story Telling, Movie Show and
    many more. We really hope that all of the students will gain a lot of
    benefits from these activities.
    And for your information, Tuesday is English day and Speaker’s
    corner. All students are highly encouraged to participate in that activity
    by giving their speech at the designated venue.

    Teachers and friends,


    First of all, I would like to invite Madam Khairul Bariyah, The head
    panel of English Language to give her speech.
    Thank you Madam Khairul Bariyah.

    Now, we have come to the main event of our ceremony which is the
    Opening Speech from the Head Master. Hence, with the greatest
    pleasure, I would like to invite En Yusof Bin Ismail to give his
    Opening Speech and then officiate the ceremony. Please welcome!!!

    Thank you for the speech. Please give a big applause. From his speech
    just now, we can conclude that he really hoped that all the students will
    gain the benefits from this programme.
    Now , it’s the time to give our attention to the gimmick that was
    prepared by year 6 and year 4 pupils in order to complete the launching
    ceremony today. Let’s enjoy the show!

    Ladies and gentlemen,


    With the gimmick show just now, our English Week is officially
    officiated.
    Now, I would like to invite a group from 1 Intan, 3 Baiduri dan 6 Fairuz
    to give their performance, Wheel On The Bus. Please welcome.

    Thank you, that was a very good performance from them just now.
    Next , I would like to call our friend from 4 Delima:
    Dhia Assyifa with her performance My Favourite Pet and Adam Faqief
    with his performance, My Favourite Sport. Please welcome on stage.
    Thank you Dhia and Adam. That was very wonderful performance
    from them.

    Now, we are going to watch the last performance from ____________

    Before we end our ceremony today, I would like to take this


    opportunity to appeal to all of you to speak English at all times. Let’s
    promise ourselves to start talking to one another in English as often as
    we can.

    With the concerted effort of both teachers and students, we are sure that
    we can enrich the English speaking environment in our school. Hence, I
    wish the ENGLISH WEEK EVERY SUCCESS!!!!
