LEFT OUTER TIE ROD ASSEMBLY
Dear Chrysler Canada Vehicle Owner:

Chrysler has decided that a defect, which relates to motor vehicle safety, exists in some 2003 through 2008
model year Dodge RAM 1500/2500/3500 series Trucks that had the steering linkage replaced with MOPAR
service parts.

The problem is : The left tie rod ball stud may fracture under certain driving conditions. This could
cause a loss of directional control and/or crash without warning.

What your dealer Chrysler will service your vehicle free of charge (parts and labour). To do this, your
will do : dealer will inspect the steering linkage and replace steering linkage components if
necessary.

What you must do Contact your dealer to schedule a service appointment starting January 6, 2014 and
to ensure your provide them with your VIN number, (shown on the enclosed Service Authorization Card).

If you have already experienced this condition and have paid to have it repaired, you will still be required to have
the campaign performed by an authorized Chrysler dealer at no charge to you. Once completed, please send
your original receipts and/or adequate proof of payment along with the campaign invoice to the following address
for reimbursement: Chrysler Canada Customer Care, P.O. Box 1621, Windsor, ON, N9A 4H6.
