No, AS per SAES-P-116 Section 7.2.5 it is not allowed

7.2.5 Foreign material to electrical system including, but not limited to, material with flanges,
joints and valves in the same room of electrical equipment are not permitted.
Exception to 7.2.5:
HVAC duct(s) when not mounted directly above electrical equipment.

9) Can we install diffuser or grills directly on the main or sub main ducts
No, It is not allowed as per SAES-K-001 Section 4.8.12.10
Diffusers, registers, grilles and other similar air terminal devices shall not be installed
directly on to main, sub-main and branch-main ducts. Branch ducts shall be provided to
these air terminal devices, having a minimum length of two duct sizes.
10) What is the height permitted for bottom of the ventilation air inlet in battery room
Not higher than 150 mm from floor as per SAES-K-002 Sec. 6.5
11) Temperature requirement in battery room
Battery rooms shall be air conditioned to maintain a temperature of 22.5°C ± 2°C (72.5°F ±
3.6°F). as per SAES-K-002 Sec. 6.1
