● In addition to the above, they must plan their projects and activities after
discussion within their group and with teachers.
● Projects should be based on research material taken from extraneous
sources.
ii.Parameters for Assessment: The listening and speaking skills will be assessed
on the following parameters:
The students can create a project on the theme of this poem titled----
THE CHANGING ROLE/STATUS OF WOMEN –Gender bias, patriarchy can be other related
topics.
This topic can be explored through various ways as a project.eg.
INTERVIEWS-TELEPHONIC OR FACE TO FACE

The student then conducts interviews with a few immediate neighbours, Grandparents etc.
to understand the changes they have seen in the society around them in relation to the role
of women.
Construct specific qs. to gain insight.eg. -----
1. What was the level of education received?
2.What were the professional areas that women were expected to choose and why?
3.What were their defined roles inside a family setup?
4.What are the changes---specific that they have noticed around them now related to the
issue of women emancipation?
Interview people from specific professional fields to explore the changes in the role of
women
The student will then write an essay/ write up / report etc. up to 1000 words essay on
his/her research and submit it.
Students can explore the CHANGING ROLE OF WOMEN IN SOCIETY with the help of a play.
They can take up issues of Girl education, Gender bias, Gender inequality, Female foeticide
etc

Time Limit, Content/Script/ Questionnaire, Creativity, Preparedness, Clarity of Speech,
Portfolio Presentation
● The student will then collate the entire information and write an essay/ write up /
report etc. up to 1000 words on his/her research and submit it.
● Group members coordinate and keep communication channels open for interaction.
Gaps ( if any) are filled with the right skill sets by the Team Leader/individual
student.

● The final draft of the project portfolio/ report , (along with the pictures supporting
the research)to be prepared and submitted for evaluation.
● Students can showcase their creativity while presenting their report. They can
adopt various ways such as:
● During the viva teachers will ask the students some questions
● Teachers will observe how students answer the questions that are posed to them.
(Are they able to understand and answer questions independently or can they
answer only when the questions are translated into simple words or repeated? Are
they able to give appropriate responses in a conversation)
● A student with effective interaction skills should be able to answer questions with
relative ease and follow the flow of conversation.
