2. The Document Verification (DV) will conducted on 26th October 2023 at RRB
Office at Thampanoor, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 001.
4. The candidates called for DV should produce all the Original Certificates and
mark sheets (Consolidated and semester wise mark sheets for Degree) along with
two sets of photocopies in A4 size as detailed in the CEN and e-call letter issued for
document verification. Where certificates are not in “English / Hindi”, self attested
translated version in Hindi or English should be produced. Caste/Community
certificates, declarations, etc produced during the DV should be strictly in the
prescribed formats given in the CEN. Where the certificates issued by the
concerned authorities is in different format, the same should be obtained as per
the prescribed format given in the CEN.
5 Shortlisted candidates should also bring six (6) passport size photographs NOT
MORE THAN THREE MONTHS OLD. Candidates should also bring candidate’s foil of
e-call letter for1st and 2nd stages of CBT. Mobile phones or other electronic gadgets are
not permitted during Document Verification as well as during Medical Examination.
6. Candidates have to upload their latest scanned photograph, signature and
identification marks as mentioned in the DV e-call letter in the portal: https://oirms-

ir.gov.in/rrbdv/ which will be active by 20.10.2023 by 17:00 hrs. The instructions for
uploading the certificates/documents is available in the portal.
7. The Medical Examination (ME) will be done on the next day of DV at any of the
nominated Railway Hospitals under Southern Railway. A fee of Rs. 24/- needs to be paid
for medical examination. It is requested that candidates should bring necessary change
for paying the medical examination fee. Candidates are advised that they should be
prepared to stay for 3-4 days for document verification and medical examination at their
own cost. The shortlisted candidates should carry a valid Photo Government ID which
should be shown, if required, for DV or ME.
8. Shortlisted candidates for DV should report on the given date and time and
failure to report on the scheduled date for DV would be lead to rejection of their
candidature. However, in case any candidate is not able to attend DV on the scheduled
date and time on account of appearing in University/Government examinations or
personal sickness or other such genuine reasons, such candidates are advised to inform
this RRB in advance through mail to [email protected] attaching supporting documentary
proof in support of their not been able to attend the DV on the scheduled date and time.
No other reason for absence would be considered. Such candidates should attend the
DV on the Block Date mentioned below.
9. Block Date for Absentee Candidates : For candidates who fail to report on the
scheduled date and time for DV for valid reason as mentioned in the above para, a second
and final chance to attend the DV is kept on the block date 30.10.2023 (Reporting Time
09:00 Hrs). Such absentee candidates should note that no other opportunity would
be given to such candidates and they should appear for DV on 30.10.2023 itself.
Such candidates should bring the original supporting document for not being able to
attend DV on the scheduled date and time and the decision of RRB whether the reason
cited is valid or not will be final. No fresh e-call letter will be sent for such absentee
candidate and they can attend with the same e-call letter uploaded for regular DV.
10. The candidature of all the shortlisted candidates is purely provisional and is liable
to be cancelled at any stage of recruitment or thereafter, in case of any inconsistency /
deficiency / discrepancy detected in the information / documents submitted by them or
any malpractice on their part coming to the notice at any stage of the recruitment process
or thereafter.
11. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official RRB Thiruvananthapuram
website mentioned above for all updates and BEWARE of FAKE websites put up by
unscrupulous elements/touts. Any information/ notices being circulated in the social
media regarding RRBs may please be ignored.
12. While every care has been taken in preparing the above results, the Railway
Recruitment Board, Thiruvananthapuram reserves the right to rectify the errors and
omissions, if any. The results can also be viewed on our website mentioned at the top.
Important : Beware of touts who may misguide candidates with false promises of
getting them selected for the job on illegal consideration. The recruitment process
in the RRB exams is fully computerized and the selection is based purely on the
merit of candidates only.
