STUDENTS

-Too much distractions. With f2f classes youre in a classroom with nothing but your teacher and whiteboard at the front
and your classmates beside you. However when youre at home, there is SO MUCH to see, to hear, to do, to eat, since
youre surrounded by distractions.

- Interaction with other students. This is probably the most important feats of f2f classes. When interacting with fellow
peers, students and classmates it can greatly affect a students life. Not only within their own classrooms but also from
other grades, other schools from out of school meets and competitions, there is so much more to be done than just
sitting in a room with a screen in front of our faces. You'll have the chance to interact with, problem-solve with, and
interact with students.

-More activities in f2f classes. Face-to-face learning is a very successful method of improving learning since it frequently
combines a variety of learning methods such as writing, reading, discussions, presentations, projects, group work, film
showing, and role-plays.

-Out of school activities. There will be events such as field trips, foundation days, and other oppurunities for students to
have fun rather than just being trapped in a room. There’s also school competitions and meets such as Bulprisas and
Journalism meets which can be super valuable moments for students

- Mental health of students. Let’s not lie. Mental health of students have always been bad but it seems like they’ve gone
worse with these online classes. The feeling of stress from mountains of school works, the anxiety from COVID, the
depression from not being able to socialize with their closest friends and classmates, etc, and etc. Incidents of students
doing self-harm and committing suicide are also effects of online classes, and as we, fellow students understand their
situations hence, us wanting to help and ease with their difficulties.

-Deadlines. Its very stressful for students when deadlines are coming there are multiple instances where they cant even
study properly due to their minds only thinking about the deadline along with the mountain piles of modules and work.

-Time management of students. Has gone worse in this pandemic.

- Students’ environment at home. Not every student has a safe nor healthy home. If they can even call it home. Some of
these students’ parents can be abusive and loud, some of their companions at their house can be unsupportive and
loud. And most of these students’ use school as an escape from their abusive situations, and the fact that their only safe
place is taken away from them is heartbreaking. This can not only affect their study, but it can also greatly affect their
state of being as well.

- Cheating of students. With multiple tabs open, off-cams, muted mics, and invisible notes from the camera, speaking
from our experiences, cheating has been incredibly easy in online classes. More and more students are being more lazier
and sly. It’s as if all of our honesty and dignity were gone ever since ol classes started. The only good thing coming out of
this is probably that it enhances a students mind to think of creative ways to cheat. And instead of relying on pareng
google, in face to face classes it can pressure us and give us the confidence to answer questions by ourselves.

- Internet Connection. Globe, Converge, PLDT, Smart, different names theyre all the same anyway. Stability of internet
connections are not guaranteed at all times. Because one day you could be presenting in 4k thn the next hour youll be a
robot in class. This can be extremely stressful for students, especially at exams, and important activities such as
presenting, reporting, etc.

-The feeling of learning in your own home can be suffocating for most times. For most students, home is a place where
they can finally rest, away from quizzes, recitations and presentations, then suddenly feeling stressed in the very walls of
your own home. Studying relentlessly at the same place where you rest peacefully can be mentally and physically
daunting.

TEACHERS
-Equipment. While some schools have enough and adequate equipment for on teaching, some do not. Also some
teachers are unfortunately still a bit unexperienced with technology, which led to many older teachers and instructors
having difficulties or resigning.

-When working at home due to very frequent lockdowns, they may not have proper devices and internet connection.
- Teachers can monitor their students more. They have more control over their respective classes and students. Asking
students to turn on their cameras are unfortunately not enough. Who knows what these students are doing behind
those screens of theirs.

-Teachers can explain their lesson better, they can also interact with their students better. They can even form close
relationships with their students so that their classes can be tolerable and fun and something that we can look forward
to.

-Teachers along with students can give better experience in face to face classes. They can provide additional
information, share memories, real life experience and interesting stories that can quickly liven up a classroom.

-The teacher's and other students' body language and voices might provide you with more information and a better
knowledge.

SCHOOL/PARENTS
-Traditional Classroom setting. It can help students learn better, and teachers teach better. It can help you to feel more
at ease and learn more quickly. With your classmates beside you and your teacher with their whiteboards at front.

-When online classes aren’t available, some students are given the choice to listen to radios, watch tv, and have
physical modules. However some don’t have radios and cant watch tv’s and some do not have guardians to deliver their
physical modules, or their guardians cant deliver the physical modules due to health risks or distance.

-Parent unable to support their child. When COVID arrived, thousands, if not millions have lost their respective jobs.
Some of those affected are parents, who now can’t financially nor physically support their children with their education.

-Monitoring their children. While it’s good that parents can finally monitor their child and how theyre doing at school, it
can have its negative sides as well. Such as students having no separation between family life and school life and
younger students relying too much on their parents that they may not adapt well when theyre on their own.

GOVERNMENT
-About 1.3 Million students didn’t enroll. This is statistics from last year’s enrolment. Although 26 million students were
enrolled, public and private, those numbers are still high. IT IS STILL 1.3 MILLION STUDENTS deprived of education
because of this system, and their own situations(potentially financially).

-We are not advocating for an instant Online Classes but rather for #LigtasBalikEskwela which is a movement held by
students and teachers. It demands the government to better their very terrible COVID response for students to safely go
to f2f classes.

-We are behind. We are part of the five countries still not open for face to face classes, along with Bangladesh, Kuwait,
Saudi Arabia and Venezuela.

HIGHER EDUCATION/ COLLEGES

-Colleges need f2f. Students in higher education are in campuses not only for learning but ultimately to gain experience.
In online classes however, that is not possible. Medical courses especially, also with the pandemic going on, we
specifically need more trained medical staff, doctors, nurses, etc. where they are very much needed.

COVID-19
-Opening of other places other than school. Recently there are news of casinos being opened along with Malls,
Attraction places and etc. We understand that some of these places are genuinely needed, such as essentials like
groceries from malls, and it can give job opportunities in this pandemic, overall it can boost our failing economy.
However what we’re mad about is the fact that they aren’t making effort to open schools and learning institutions. It’s
as if they want online schools to be the new normal. And they’re not giving the effort to bring back face to face classes.
They are so relaxed and lazy with online classes and they genuinely don’t care about their students anymore.
• Less distractions kapag face to face kasi nakatutok ka lang sa teacher mo at nakikinig pero kapag online class kasi
nasa harap ka ng cellphone or ng laptop and mas nadi-distract kang gumawa ng ibang bagay like for example may nag ml
while in the class.

• Because there will be better concentration than at home, and you will be able to focus more on your studies.

• Teachers and other students can provide you with additional information, memories, and real life experiences.

• Traditional classroom setting may help you feel more at ease and learn more quickly.

• The teacher's and other students' body language and voices might provide you with more information and a
better knowledge.

• You'll have the chance to interact with, problem-solve with, and interact with students.

• Face-to-face learning is a very successful method of improving learning since it frequently combines a variety of
learning methods such as writing, reading, discussions, presentations, projects, group work, film showing, and role-plays.

• Face to-face is better than online learning because those students who commit suicide as a result of the
modules are most likely to happen.

• Face-to-face is better because not all Filipinos have the ability to meet the needs of a student to take online
classes.

• F2f is better than online classes because the teacher can explain the lessons really well.

• We also make more friends when taking face to face class.

• Teachers have more control over students during face-to-face classes. Our social skills improve when we attend
face-to-face classes.

• Mas mapre-pressure ang government natin to alter its COVID response for face-to-face interactions.

• face-to-face because there will be events such as field trips, foundation days, and other opportunities for
students to have fun sometimes.

• It’s also stressful for us students when the deadlines for modules is coming. And may mga instance na parang
hindi na tayo natututo because we think more about the deadline of the worksheets.

• When taking online classes, we rely on Google online sites that can provide answers, but when face to-face, we
will answer them ourselves.
• about 1.13 million students ang hindi nakapagenroll from last year and isa tayo sa limang countries na hindi pa
nag bubukas ng schools katulad Bangladesh, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Venezuela.

• We all know that the Philippines is one of the countries with the slowest internet connection. This is definitely
the biggest problem students will face if this system continues. Not all students have the privilege of having a proper
internet connection.

mismo magsasagot about 1.13 million students ang hindi nakapagenroll from last year Mas maganda ang face to face

medical courses and college nahihirapan
