KING KONG CASH™. The jungle themed support titles are avail-

Mega Kong is driven by IGT´s System Gaming Protocol (SGP).

nication between the gaming machines and the jackpot controller
2
(Star|JACKPOTS ).
2
The Star|JACKPOTS server is installed on a media controller (a
customized barebone) delivered by IGT.

The progressive jackpot is automatically displayed via an on-screen

meter (SPIELO OXYGEN™ dual screen technology) and one or
more LCD displays.

can appreciate the chance of hitting a jackpot on a more frequent
basis. Each time the players get into the Mega Kong Bonus, they
have a reasonable chance of hitting the highest jackpot.

MEGA KONG™ – Setup and Configuration 7

2. Overview

2.3 Bonus Features

All game titles provide a game themed freegames bonus, Mega
Kong Bonus and the Mystery Kong Bonus.

2.3.1 Mega Kong Bonus

The Mega Kong Bonus is a four level progressive jackpot triggered
by a scattered symbol combination on reels 2, 3 and 4 during the
base game or freegames bonus feature:

Enter Mega Kong Bonus and trigger up

in base game
to 10 Mega Kong Bonus games

Enter Mega Kong Bonus and trigger up

in freegames
to 10 Mega Kong Bonus games

Additionally the Mega Kong Bonus can be awarded by the Mystery

Kong Bonus, see section 2.3.2 Mystery Kong Bonus.

The Mega Kong Bonus can be triggered with any bet, but higher bets
in the base game provide better chances of winning higher jackpots.

Once the bonus is triggered, the player has to choose one out of
three Kong symbols to win 5, 7 or 10 Mega Kong Bonus games.

The Mega Kong Bonus games are played on special reels with unique
symbols and easy-to-follow paytable. The bonus games are played
with up to 25 lines and the same bet per line/play modes as the base
game that triggered the Mega Kong Bonus session. Mega Kong Bonus – Choose your Kong!

For each jackpot level a threshold value (in credits) is determined

that is stated next to the jackpot meter on the top screen. The cred-
its won during the Mega Kong Bonus games are accumulated and
the sum of all credits determines the corresponding progressive level
won.

2.7 General Configuration Notes

When configuring a Mega Kong installation, there are a few things
to consider:

The configuration USB flash drive contains a customer specific
game configuration that is predetermined during order processing.
Depending on the configuration presets and jurisdiction the menu
settings might be adjustable. If you want to change any of the pre-
determined settings, please contact your local sales representative.

To perform an initial setup configuration the configuration USB flash

drive is mandatory! The configuration USB flash drive is connected
to one of the USB ports located at the logic box.

The game configuration settings are predetermined during or-
der processing and cannot be changed. If you want to (or have to)
change any of the predetermined settings, please contact your local

The Mega Kong progressive parameters are calculated by means of
the Progressive Calculation Sheet. To ensure proper configuration
the progressive calculation parameters are predetermined during or-
der processing and cannot be changed. If you want to change any of
the predetermined jackpot parameters (e.g. Start Value, JP Limits,
etc), please contact your local sales representative for a recalculation.

2.7.4 Jackpot Handpays

ebration Limit setting. A win that exceeds this limit will trigger a jack-
pot handpay. See also chapter 5, section 5.2 Celebration Limit or the
