    PROJECT PROPOSAL

    I. PROJECT TITLE: Rooted Awareness: Planting for a Greener Tomorrow


    II. PROJECT RATIONALE:
    The DEPED'S 236,000 TREES - A CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR THE CHILDREN is an
    initiative that provides a unique educational opportunity for students to actively participate in
    tree planting activities, fostering a deeper understanding of environmental issues and promoting
    conservation efforts through hands-on learning and practical application of the environment.
    In connection with this initiative, the Sci-Pi Organization, The Roots of Hope Club, and
    YES-O will conduct a project entitled: Rooted Awareness: Planting for a Greener Tomorrow.
    This project is an awareness campaign of the said organizations and club which aims to spread
    awareness about the importance of our environment to students while planting new trees. This
    campaign will help students know the importance of tree planting in preserving our environment.
    This will happen during the 236,000 Trees – A Christmas Gift for the Children on December 6,
    2023, 8:00 in the morning.
    III. PROJECT OBJECTIVES:
     To actively involve students in tree planting activities to contribute to DEPED's 236,000
    Trees project.
     To enhance students' understanding of environmental issues through hands-on learning
    experiences.
     To promote sustainable practices and conservation efforts among students.
     To establish a lasting commitment to environmental stewardship and community
    engagement.
    STRATEGIES:

    1. All club officers of the two clubs are invited to join the campaign and tree planting.

    2. The officers will gather the materials for the said activity on December 5, 2023. The
    materials are plywood, painting materials and tape.

    3. The gathered materials will be used to make a tree planting related slogan.

    4. The slogan will be used as a signboard near the planted trees to remind the community
    the importance of tree planting.
