    NOTE:
    A result value less than 1 is considered to be "Negative".
    A result value greater than or equal to 1 is considered to be "Positive".
    COMMENTS:
    This test is performed on Biomerieux VIDAS analyzer using CE approved French Origin Enzyme Linked
    Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit bearing batch number 423077.
    The presence of dengue nonstructural protein (NS-1) antigen is consistent with acute phase infection with dengue
    virus. PCR for Dengue virus serotypes is recommended for confirmation of diagnosis if dengue NS1 antigen is
    positive.
    Follow up care and isolation in tertiary care hospital in confirmed cases is highly recommended.

    Please note the change in reference range effective from 26-10-2023.
