Opening Basketball Script
Call to Order: Ladies and Gentlemen please find your seats and feel
yourself comfortable because in a few minutes we will start our program.
If settle na: Let’s not wait for the grass to grow, let’s begin our program.
G: Playing sport has become very important today, since it can encourage
young people to develop important values such as loyalty, perseverance,
friendship, sharing and solidarity. – Pope John Paul II
G: And please remain standing for the singing of our city hymn, Tagum
Mabuhay Ka.
B: Wow, that was a fantastic and awesome performance from the Theater
Guild of TCNHS .
G: At this point, let’s move forward and proceed to our oath taking of new
coaches together with the inspirational message that will be led and given
by our city vice mayor, Hon. Allan L. Rellon, DPA, Phd.
B: Again, thank you for leading the oath taking for new coaches and
inspiring our player. Once again, our city vice mayor, Hon. Allan L. Rellon,
DPA, Phd.
B: Thank you very much Tagum City National High School for your
enthusiastic performance. At this point, let us have our oath of
sportsmanship for coaches to be led by Coach Lyet Silva
G: Thank you so much Coach Lyet for leading the oath of sportsmanship.
Without further ado, let us hear another message coming from our Tagum
City School Division Superintendent, Dr. Josephine L. Fadul Around of
applause please.
B: Thank you so much Dr. Josephine L. Fadul for that inspiring message.
And now at this moment, let us call in one of the St. Mary’s College players,
Mr. Kyle Mayordomo to lead the oath for sportsmanship for players.
G: Thank you so much Mr. Kyle Mayordomo for leading the oath of
sportsmanship. At this point, let us welcome our every dynamic school
Education Program Supervisor in MAPEH, Sir Isaias E. Maghuyop for his
message. Around of applause please.
B: Thank you so much Sir Isaias E. Maghuyop. At this juncture, to give us
the closing remarks, let’s give the floor to the chairman of BCAT, Sir
Jonathan L. Casulla. A big hand please.
G: Thank you Sir Jonathan. As we end our program this morning, we would
like to give thanks to our guests, fellow coaches and to our players for
embracing and participating our opening this morning.
