GROUP STRUCTURE
Concor employs over 1600 employees, the
majority of whom are based on project sites, across
both the Construction and Mining Services operating
platforms. The Group embraces holistic development
and support for employees, with the aim of being an
employer of choice within their sectors.

From Concor’s early roots as a building company

in the 1900s to its impressive standing as a leading
infrastructure and construction force today, Concor has
grown through hard work, excellent services in design and

Headquartered in Johannesburg and operating primarily in the

Gauteng and Western Cape regions – as well as on selected projects
in the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal – Concor’s Construction Platform,

development and more. Concor also has operations in Botswana and Namibia
through its Dynamic Concrete business.

Beyond meeting South and sub-Saharan Africa’s most fundamental building needs, Concor
ensures the best energy-saving options are incorporated into all of their projects using
sustainable building methodologies.

The Group is known for leading the construction of legacy projects such as the Bloukrans Bridge in
the Eastern Cape, Huguenot Tunnel and Hugo’s River Viaduct in the Western Cape, Reservoir for
the Ingula Power Station in Kwa-Zulu Natal and the Carlton Centre, ABSA Towers, Melrose Arch,
the Gautrain, and Menlyn Shopping Centre in Gauteng.

Some of the company’s more recent projects include the Radisson Red Hotel in
Rosebank. The upmarket 222 room hotel was designed – like all Oxford Parks Precinct
buildings – to meet a minimum five-star Green Star rating. Another successful
completion by Concor was the tallest residential and office blocks in the Mother
City – the 16 On Bree and Portside Tower projects. Construction of a new
N2 Mtunzini Toll Plaza – North Bound Carriageway of 33.7km, is an example
of another successfully completed infrastructure project, along with the
Khoemacau Copper Haul and Access Roads Project in Botswana.
