    Take note of the:


     High Concentrated Waste bottle
     Washing solution bottle (12mL conc. Solution + fill w/ distilled water)
     Reagent Refrigerator and Reagents

    Starting Up the Analyser

    1. Switch ON the Analyzer (RED switch)


    *There is a separate switch for the Reagent Refrigerator (BLUE switch)
    2. Turn ON the Computer

    3. Double click the BA200 User icon to open the Software

    4. On the Action buttons, Click START ANALYZER to start initialization


    5. Wait the analyser to be in stand by mode.

    Running of Samples

    *It is recommendable to restart work session daily by means of Restart session button

    1. Click SAMPLE REQUEST in the Fast Access Button

    2.

    Sample Class Patient ID or name Sample Type TESTS selection


    *To introduce a new sample, proceed as follows:
    a. Select the sample class (Patient, Blank, Calibrator, Control)
    *Mark URGENT if Sample is STAT.
    b. Select the sample type (SER, URI, PLM, WBL, CSF)
    c. Introduce Patient/Sample ID (or name of patient)
    *Click if you want to enter complete patient details.
    d. Click to Select the Analytes for testing, then Click ACCEPT selection to
    save and close window Selected tests

    3. Check all Requested Samples


    Patient ID/Name STAT(RED) Analytes Replicates Container

    *Takenote of the Samples’ container (tube or pediatric cup), the no. of replicates etc.

    4. Click POSITIONING SELECTED SAMPLES


    *This sends the selections/complete lists of samples to be positioned in the analyser

    5. Click AUTOMATIC SAMPLE POSITIONING – to position the samples


    *You can also Manually position the samples by dragging them to position or click to read sample
    barcode

    6. Click AUTOMATIC REAGENT POSITIONING – to position the reagents


    *You can also Manually position the reagents by dragging them to position or click to read reagent
    barcode
    7. Double check your sample and reagent positions. Take note of their container.
    8. Click to ACCEPT
    9. Click START to run the tests
    *In the Main screen, You can select different tabs to
    monitor your analyser and session status.

    10. To view RESULTS, Click WORKSESSION RESULTS

    End of Day/Shutdown
    1. Click to SHUTDOWN

    2. When the reappears, or the analyser status changed to SLEEPING MODE, Close the software
    3. Switch the Analyzer OFF
    *Do not turn off REAGENT REFRIGERATOR
    4. Switch OFF computer
