    Part 1
    Answer the questions briefly.
    1. Mention and explain the function of the part of an essay.

    Answer :
     Introduction : The major purpose of an introduction is to make readers feel
    that they are going to read about something. As it has four integral points, they
    all play an important role in making readers feel that he is going through a
    well-organized piece. For example, the job of a hook is to attract the attention
    of readers, while background information provides further information about
    the topic discussed in the essay. It educates readers about what is to be
    discussed.

     Body : The function of the essay's body is to fully develop the argument
    outlined in the introduction. This is to highlight the way the main points in the
    argument can be presented at the beginning of each paragraph to show the
    logical steps in the argument.

     Conclusion : The function of conclusion is to restate the main argument. It


    reminds the reader of the strengths of your main argument(s) and reiterates the
    most important evidence supporting those argument(s).

    2. Break down the part of an essay, and explain.

    Answer :
     First when you introduce the topic you discussed in your essay and briefly
    summarize the points you will make in the next paragraph. This is where you
    state your thesis. Your thesis is the most important part of your essay because
    it is the point you make.
     Netx, When you proofread your finished essay, make sure your thesis is
    clearly stated in the introductory paragraph. If it's not clear, go back and write
    a definitive thesis statement.
     After that, because the main paragraph of the essay is a place to support the
    thesis statement with facts and evidence. therefore Each body paragraph
    should focus on one supporting argument for your thesis by discussing related
    data, content or events.
     then finally, In the concluding paragraph of the essay, we need to summarize
    the points that have been made and bring the argument to its logical
    conclusion. Since the reader may be familiar with your thesis, the summary in
    the concluding paragraph can be more direct and conclusive than the one in
    the intro paragraph.

    3. Give 5 examples of thesis statement.

    Answer :
     Organizing in the world of lectures is one of the important aspects we need for
    future provisions.
     Carrots are one of the foods that are rich in nutrients and full of benefits.
    According to data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health, in 100 grams of
    fresh carrots we can use 80% of the tubers.
     One of the advantages of face-to-face KBM is that it doesn't require an
    internet connection and a device. Teachers and students can directly interact
    and communicate in learning activities.
     keeping Cats, in particular, can lower a person's stress levels - perhaps because
    they don't need as much attention and effort as taking care of a dog - and can
    decrease the amount of anxiety in a person's life.
     By becoming rich people, we can be more financially independent. So there is
    no need to bother our parents anymore.

    4. Mention at least three of the patterns of organization based on author’s purpose.

    Answer :
     Chronological
     Compare and contrast
     Cause and effect

    5. Mention at least 2 examples of the title on chronological order type of essay.

    Answer :
     The meeting between the president of america and russia.
     Crowd in the city shopping center.

    6. Mention at least 2 examples of the title on logical division of ideas type of essay.
    Answer :
     The advantages of studying in the English language education department.
