Mechanical work for PL070 in following:

1. Drawn out engine control system/unit to carry out engine (IVECO N67ENTM45.10) testing.

1.1. Service provider shall appoint local agent to drawn out whole engine control system/unit with

cable on board vessel afloat or on dry dock to test engine performance and status in GD's engine

testing region.

1.2. When condition of lube oil find that need to be change then drain from main engine according

to local agent's recommendation. Renew/clean all primary and secondary lube oil, fuel oil

filters/cartridges. Check and adjust valve tappets clearance of the engines in correct limits as per

engine maker’s specification requirements. Open up the sea water pump for inspection, renew

defective parts as required. Refit all in good order. Renew zinc anode and blow through air filter for

main engine. Renew defective parts as required. Draw and send lube oil samples of main engine to

Caterpillar Agent for Scheduled Oil Sample testing (S.O.S.). Check and inspect the vibration damper,

engine mountings, and tight up in good working order. Renew any defective parts as required. Run

up engine, trace and rectify any external water/fuel oil/lube oil leakage as found.

1.3. Carry out functional test main engine power and control system including monitoring, warning

alarm, gauges / sending units and starter motor / charging alternator. Report any defect(s) if found.

1.4. Provide special tools and approved apparatus/equipment including the computer and

program for performing the services as well as for testing and calibrations of the engines in

accordance with the makers’ specifications.

1.5. Refit whole engine control system/unit on board vessel afloat or on dry dock to good order

upon engine testing completion.

Remarks:
I. Above work will be carried out in GD and service provider shall appoint local service agent to

disconnect and remove the relating engine control system/unit & engine parts and open up for

inspection/investigation/repair servicing.

II. All work shall be according to maintenance manual and engine maker's

specification/recommendation/procedure.

SERVICES CONDITION AND REQUIREMENT FOR SERVICE PROVIDERS / CONTRACTORS:

(A) Notification of Work Completion

1. For the maintenance and repair work within the Government Dockyard (GD)

A copy of the filled "Work Completion Record Sheet" must be submitted to Maintenance and
Support Section via WhatsApp (6356 4202) on the date of completion of the work.

2. For the maintenance and repair work outside of GD

The "Work Completion Record Sheet" with the "Start Date and Time" & "Leave Date and Time"

must be submit to Maintenance and Support Section via WhatsApp (6356 4202) each day whenever

any work is carried out onboard until a "Work Completion Record Sheet" with the "Completion

Date and Time" is submitted to Maintenance and Support Section via WhatsApp (6356 4202) on the

date of completion of the work.


Mechanical work for PL070 in following:

1. Lift and refit recondition engine (IVECO N67ENTM45.10) for inspection & repair servicing.

1.1. Disconnect and remove all obstructions and attachments inside engine compartment in way to

lift the engine off from the vessel and deliver to Service provider’s workshop for

inspection/investigation/repair servicing. Lift and install the reconditioned engine on board and

connect up all obstructions and attachments upon confirmation by Government

Representative. Prime up engine and conduct engine trial on work completion.

1.2. Provide facilities and transportation to convey/collect the main engine to service provider’s

workshop for open up the engine for inspection & repair servicing. Renew defective parts

according to engine maker's recommendation/specification which disconnect and remove the

relating engine parts to open up for repair servicing are inclusive. Carry out engine trial in good

order and return the engine to Government Dockyard's store on works completion. Service

provider should obligate to provide well protection to prevent bad weather onto the main engine

during the conveyance.

Remarks:

I. Above work will be carried out in GD and service provider shall appoint local service agent to

disconnect and remove the relating engine parts and open up for inspection/investigation/repair

servicing.

II. The service provider shall provide transportation in between G.D. and service provider’s

workshop as required by G.D. representatives in conducting site inspection(s) during the repairing

period of the engine.

III. All works shall be according to specification / recommendation / procedure according to


maintenance manual and engine maker.
