    1. If patient is in bed, explains the procedure to patient 0.5
    2. Puts off the fan 0.5
    3. Removes watch & other accessories 0.5
    4. Perform hand hygiene and wear gloves if needed 0.5
    5. Assist the client to be out of the bed in comfortable chair 0.5
    6. Stand on right side of the bed 0.5
    7. Arrange all articles near by the client in the right side 0.5
    8. Lower the side rails and raise the bed to a comfortable 0.5
    working height if possible
    9. Wears gloves if the linen is soiled 0.5

    D Intra Procedure 31
    1. Removes the pillow, places it on the stool near the bed, 1
    open end facing away from the entrance. Removes and
    discards the pillow cover in to linen trolley
    2. Strips the linen from the head to foot on the nearer side, 1
    moves to the other side of the bed, lower the side rails and
    loosens all linen
    3. Removes blanket from the foot end, shakes it in to the 1
    hamper and discards in to linen trolley
    4. Fanfolds the top sheet and shakes it in to the hamper, makes 1
    sure that it does not touch the hamper and folds reverse
    from side to side into 8 folds and discards in to linen trolley
    (wrong to wrong side of the linen)
    5. Fanfolds the draw sheet, shakes into hamper, folds from 1
    side to side into 4 and places and discards in to linen trolley.
    6. Wets the duster, squeezes out the water and makes a mitten 1
    at the dominant hand
    7. Remove the mackintosh by rolling from near to far and 1
    place it over the stool
    8. Fanfolds the bottom sheet, shakes in to the hamper, folds it 1
    in to eight folds with the first fold from right to right side of
    the sheet and discards in to linen trolley.
    9. Carbolize half of the mattress starting from head end of the 1
    bed to the mid of the, bed from nearer to far end and
    removes the dust
    10. Cleans from the middle of the bed to the foot end same as 1
    above
    11. Folds the mattress from top to bottom, cleans under the 1
    surface top to bottom and nearer to farther up to the middle
    of the mattress (using left hand)
    12. Cleans the head end frame of the cot and then half of the 1
    surface of the cot from head end to the middle of the cot.
    Put the mattress flat
    13. Turns the mattress from bottom to top 1
    14. Cleans the bottom of the mattress and then the surface of 1
    the cot from the middle up to the foot end bars
