1.Introduction

This Document explains the installation procedure of Design Studio connecting with OpenVPN for
MUFG project.

Design Studio is a Developer friendly Design Framework which helps the developer to automate in
Building the components and Modules.

2. Pre-Requisite
 The Latest version of Design Studio received from Temenos.
 The Current working version of T24 and TAFJ folders of the respective T24 release.
 Latest TAFJ Plugins from the R19 environment.
 Latest version of OpenVPN software to be installed

3. Installation Steps

3.1 Download Procedure

 Download the Design Studio version R19.12 and other files mentioned below without
connecting to CG VPN.

 Extract all the above download files. As shown below

 After the extraction, In T24 Binaries Part 2, you will be having a folder called “interaction”.
Copy that folder and place it in the path “<T24 Binaries Part 1 extracted
path>/com/temenos/”.

 Rename the T24 Binaries Part 1 as t24 Binaries

Move the t24 Binaries inside the \DesignStudioT24-201912.1

3.2 TAFJ Perspective

 Copy all the TAFJ plugins available in the path TAFJ\eclipse\plugins And move the plugins to
DesignStudioT24-201912.1\plugins

 Navigate through the path DesignStudioT24-201912.1\dropins, where the TAFJ.link file is

present.

 Right click on the TAFJ.link file and edit. Specify the path where the TAFJ folder is copied.

3.3 Linking Binary Files

 Link the binary files path with Design Studio.

Select Preferences as shown above and search for maven in the search bar.

 Select User Settings and click open file

 Make sure that the t24- binaries path is correct one being parameterized based on the above set
up .

 Modify the highlighted line to the path where the TAFJ has been installed in source mode.

3.4 Configuring tafj.properties file

 Navigate through the path TAFJ->conf in the TAFJ folder where TAFJ zip file was downloaded .

 Now open this property file tafj.properties (tafj) and make the following changes and save the
property file:

 Below is the list of variables that will have impact and the values are changed.

 tafj.home
 temn.tafj.directory.basic
 temn.tafj.directory.insert
 temn.tafj.directory.java
 temn.tafj.directory.classes
 temn.tafj.directory.precompile

4. Post Installation Check in Design Studio

4.1 TAFJ Perspective

 Login into Design Studio by double- clicking on the icon available on the desktop .

 Create a folder for the workspace of Design Studio. Click OK.

 In the Quick Access text Box Search for the TAFJ perspective as shown below. The TAFJ
perspective will be shown.

 These TAFJ plugins can also be verified by navigating through Help -> Installation Details

In the search Bar type TAFJ and check the plugins are installed successfully.

4.2 Creation of Project

 Navigate through File->New->Project.

 In the new project wizard, select “Design Studio Template Projects”.

 Check whether the dropdown is listed in the Create Template Projects.

Right click Ft-modelbank-models>properties

Select design studio under code generation> expand the all categories.do the following changes.
