2. BASIC FEATURES:
The CDE is composed of 23 items, with a scale of 1 to 6, Completely false about me, Mostly
false about me, Slightly more true than false, Moderately true about me, Mostly true about me,
Describes me perfectly. Qualifying in the sense of emotional dependence with a high score as
pathological and absence of emotional dependence in the positive sense.
In its final factor analysis it has revealed 6 components: Separation anxiety, Affective
expression of the couple, Modification of plans, Fear of loneliness, Borderline Expression and
Seeking attention.
Its preferred areas of application are clinical, educational and research with adolescents and
adults.
