This study applied quantitative method of research, specifically descriptive

research designed and employed central tendency such as frequency, percentage and

mean to interpret the data. Specifically sought to answer the following problems; to what

extent is the implementation of the drugs intervention program in the municipality of

General salipada K. Pendatun ,Maguindanao Del Sur; to what extent is the performance

of the Philippine National Police on the implementation of the program. Finally, the

researcher trying to find out the feedback of the individual in the community after the

implementation of the said intervention. It was revealed that barangay officials and

people in the community participated in the implementation of the program and the

performance of the Philippine National Police were doing their best to properly

implemented the intervention program. Then, the feedback in the community revealed

that, due to proper implementation of the intervention by the Philippine National Police,

the issues on drugs gradually eradicated. However, the researcher further recommend

a series of investigation and research study to find out the best strategies or intervention

to totally eradicate the drug problem in the community.
