ACTIVITY PROPOSAL
I. Rationale
In line with the Governance of Basic Education Act of 2001 (RA No. 9155) which is aimed
to strengthen of School-Based Management the schools are encouraged to create and innovate
school-based initiated projects for the learners, management, curriculum or instruction that will
improve the school’s performance.
At present the school has been implementing three innovative projects namely, Project
ADAS for school’s management, CI Project CALL for curriculum and Project CALL as the
school’s banner project for the learners and stakeholders. Looking into the Quarter 1 2022 data in
the Progress Monitoring and Evaluation Data Sheets (PROMEDS) for junior and senior high
school departments a lot of problems may possibly crop up. Teachers and ADAS could formulate
a number of problems from the data and could think of possible solution to the problems.
However, when they were asked of create and innovate school-based initiated projects for a
specific purpose based on available data majority of them said that they need to be capacitated in
writing a school project for innovation.
Writing a school project can be just as time-consuming as doing the project. Hence, in this
training, a prescribed DepEd template for creating project proposal for innovation so participants
need not reinvent the wheel. For the participants to get a good grasp of the template, a sample
project sample shall be presented with corresponding explanation and the crafting shall follow
for them to be able to produce the required project proposal for an innovation.
II. Objectives
1. To capacitate teachers in writing project proposal and completed project for innovation in
Ibarra National High School
At the end of the two-day training the participants are expected to produce project proposal
for innovation based from their identified problem under their area of concern.

V. Methodologies
The training will be conducted through face to face at a designated venue. Minimum
health safety standard will be observed. All slide decks will be prepared in advance by the
learning facilitators. All participants will bring their own laptop for the workshop.
