I) Particular indication of danger : On available date the product can be considered as non-toxic, non-harmful,
to man and environment non-irritating, non-corrsive and non-oxidizing.

3. COMPOSITION/ INGREDIENT COMPONENTS


Aqueous dispersion of acrylic copolymer groups.

4. FIRST-AID MEASURES
I) Inhalation : No Applicable
ii) Skin contact : In extreme cases : Irritation remove contaminated clothing. wash skin with water
and soap.
iii) eyes contact : In extreme cases : Irritation irritate eyes with plenty of water at least 10 mins.
: Obtain medical assistance if symptoms persists
iv) Swallowing : Nausea.
: Clear mouth, nose and throat. seek as soon as medical assistance.

5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES


I) Fire Hazard : Product is water based and in wet from its fire hazard is low. The dried product is
combustible. Decomposition product can be toxic.
ii) Extinguishing media : Water, power ,CO2, sand and all extinguishing media are suitable.
protective clothing and self- contained breathing equipment should be
available for fireman. to prevent environmental damage,
if possible collect water used to extinguish the fire in containers.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES


I) Personal protection : Wear PVC- gloves and goggle to contain spills.
Avoid repeated skin contact

ii) Environmental precautions : Prevent the product contamination soil and groundwater. Prevent the Product
Cleaning/ Recovery entering sewers and waterways. cfr. Section 12.
Large spillages : contain and pump into containers
Small spillages : absorb on sand, earth and collect into containers for disposal.
Disposal should always comply with local, national or EEC regulations.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE


i) Handling : Good industrial and personnel hygiene practice should be followed. no eating and
drinking in the workplace. ensure adequate ventilation.
ii) Storage : protect from frost and direct sunlight.
Drums and bottles : material is plastic or steel.
Bulk tanks : stainless steel, aluminum, plastic coated materials. Clean bulk tanks
periodically to prevent accumulation of bacteria.
iii) Specific use : Use the best available methods of handing our products whereby employees
enjoy maximum safety and whereby the environment is minimally affected.

8. EXPOSURE CONTROL / PERSONAL PROTECTION


I) Exposure limit values : No danger in normal ambient conditions.
There are no specific limiting values for professional exposure.
There are no biological limiting values.
Users should determine the conditions for safe use of the products. cfr. Section
7 “Handling”

- Occupational exposure : Hand Protection : waterproof PVC-gloves (CE)
Controls Eye protection : goggles or safety glasses (CE)
Skin protection : Not applicable.
Avoid repeated skin contact.

10. STABILITY AND REACTIVITY

I) Conditions to avoid : Stable under the recommended storage conditions. Cfr. section 7 “Storage”
Bacterial degradation can occur if the product is stored for an unusually long
period or is stored under unsuitable conditions.
ii) Materials to avoid : Avoid strong acids and materials which react with water.
iii) hazardous decomposition : CO x, 3and possibly other toxic vapours in case of fire.

11. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION


On product : Low toxicity is indicated by available date.
Under normal industrial conditions, there is no indication that the product can be
considered as a health risk.
Skin contact should be avoided to prevent possible long - term or short - term
Sensitation.
12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION
I) Ecotoxicity : The product is miscible with water and as such could cover considerable distances
if spilled into waterways. Even a small spillage will whiten the appearance of water.
: Water for sewage treatment, that has been contaminated with small quantities of
the product, will not affect the biomass. High concentrations may be harmful to
fish and micro - organisms.
ii) Mobility : Not established.
iii) Persistence and degradability : There is only a low environmental degradation of the product.
iv) Bioaccumulative potential : There is seemingly no tendency for bioaccumulation.
v) Other adverse effects : Unknown.

13. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATION


The product must not be discharged directly into drains or waterways without treatment.
The Polymer content can be treated by various methods : filtration, coagulating and setting etc.
All product disposal should comply with local, national or EEC regulations.
