I found I could say things with color and shapes that I
couldn't say any other way - things I had no words for.
Georgia O'Keeffe
Today’s art is not based on traditional ways and expectations but on the artist's
feelings and how they see society. Also, artists may combine traditional and modern
ways of creating art. Also as art continues to evolve it takes inspiration from
technology and some artist creates artwork using different techniques involving the
use of technology For example Michael Manning where his artwork is created using a
digital program where he acts out the experience of dabbling the oil in oil painting, and
later on printing them imitating the the physical appearance of an actual brush stroke.
As technology evolves and grows so do the artworks and art forms It evolves with it
and as we progress many artists will explore different styles. Today, artists find it easy
to create artwork using apps, and computer programs.

Art in the modern day can be easily preserved and restored if damaged because of
how technology helps in finding ways to preserve and restore various paintings and
sculptures. Technology helps to keep artworks alive and in their precious state for
people to view them. Integrative arts have not only endured but also evolved to
seamlessly incorporate technology into the fabrics of traditional art. Integrative art is
the fusion between traditional art and technology. Integrative art is an art form that is a
symphony of different elements of both technology and traditional art. Technology is
one of the most important parts of integrative arts because it helps the artist in making
artwork and it helps them in mixing various forms of art to express themselves.

Each picture I’ve chosen has different art forms integrated with another form of art.
And how technology helps artists in refining and fine-tuning details. Technology is very
relevant in this modern day because it helps in the preservation of historic paintings,
sculptures, etc. As technology got better artwork became more advanced and it
became one of the useful tools to preserve and restore historic art pieces. In
integrative art, technology is a tool where culture can be kept forever. And technology
offers a new way to find fresh perspectives in creating art and on the intersection of
traditional and modern ways. Technology allows an integrative artist to create an
interactive and meaningful work of art.
The growth of technology has helped create a new creative landscape where they can
explore new ways to create and refine artwork. Technology provides artists with new
tools and platforms to experiment and express themselves. Technology also helps
artists to explore and allow new creative ways to express what they feel about their
surroundings or even themselves. Technology is very relevant in the topic of
integrative art because of how it is very much available and even one person who
can’t draw can learn how to draw easily just by learning from watching tutorials. Also,
technology helps to immortalize artists' legacy just by preserving their works of art
online. The application of technology in every integrative art form helps it become
more relevant and still be used up to this day.

Technology has allowed us to capture, create, and refine works of art. Technology
offers a versatile and valuable asset for creativity, communication, and expression in
today’s modern society. Technology alongside integrative art can inspire innovation,
and facilitate cross-culture understanding. Technology allows artists to convey emotion
not just with still painting and sculpture but also with moving sculpture an example of
this is the “Can’t Help Myself” sculpture by Sun Yuan and Peng Yu which shows the
sculpture is struggling to keep the oil from further spilling. The second is the “Infinity
Mirror” room by Yayoi Kusama which consists of cube rooms with mirrors, a floor
submerged in water, and only one flickering light that presents a contrast between life
and death. Yayoi Kusama uses digital art to express and convey the trauma she faced
in her childhood and her art exhibit titled “I Who Have Remained in Heaven” in 2013
shows her iconic polka dots and vivid coloring a product of her many hallucinations
during her childhood.

Both technology and integrative art encourage creative thinking beyond the barriers of
one's mind. As technology further becomes a better and more suitable medium of art.
It further helps artists to express themselves not just in a way they are being held back
by traditional art and it further gives freedom through the integration of two different art
forms, two different mediums. The growth of technology within the field of integrative
arts has increased not only its relevance but also its practicality in modern society.
Today's artists have access to an array of digital tools and technologies, permitting
them to push the boundaries of creativity and engage audiences in new ways.
