The NSTP students and coordinator together with College of Arts and Sciences faculty led an Outreach
Program at Barangay Pantal, Dagupan City last March 9, 2023 to the affected families ravaged by fire.
Last March 2, 2023, eighteen (18) families at Barangay Pantal, Dagupan City are affected by fire. The fire
occurred injured people and left an irreparable damage. The residents are really subjected to an
emergency crisis and asking for assistance. In order to contribute aid to affected place, PHINMA
UNIVERSITY OF PANGASINAN, specifically the students and faculties occurred with the project
College of Arts and Sciences NSTP Outreach Program 2023. The program objectifies to help those
devastated residents and destroyed resources from Barangay. The students and coordinator form National
Service Training Program (NSTP), College of Arts and Sciences faculty in partnership with Center for
Student Development and Leadership (CSDL), Supreme Student Council (SSC), College of Allied Health
Sciences (CAHS), Health Campaign and Red Cross Pangasinan- Dagupan Branch conducted the CAS-
NSTP Outreach Program. The NSTP Outreach Program was held on March 9, 2023, at 9:00 AM and was
done through donating vegetables to the devastated residents. Also, the help was extended through
organizing a medical mission led by the department of College of Health and Allied Sciences specifically
nursing students by doing check-up. The affected residents might develop illness caused by smoke during
their exposure on fire. The program was implemented successfully and helped a lot of families who
suffered to the fire catastrophe.
