pandemic, not all students have an access to internet, TV and other means of
technology. In our school , other learners came across with difficult
Annotation circumstances and we have to address that matter. Teachers use some
creative methods to teach the child so they all learn. Teachers find time for
home visits , other teachers send videos and self-made learning activities to
address their needs, other invites students to watch lessons in television and
listen to the radio. Some teachers call and asks students if they understand
the lesson. Other teachers use collaborative approach, while the teacher
monitor them.

STRAND COVID -19 is not a hindrance!!!!

IMAGE SY 2020-2021 brought extraordinary challenges due to COVID -19 pandemic and has
affected the health, economic growth, people lifestyle, and also the education of our youth in the
whole world.

In Department of Education, we’ve gone through a lot of efforts to maintain learning

continuity even before the beginning of classes which move on last October. Educational
community provided us trainings, webinars, orientations to continue the delivery of basic
education, to sustain and provide quality education despite lockdown and community quarantine.
This time, we called it, the New Normal, hence it became the basis into consideration in planning
and implementation.
Through Learning Delivery Modality training, it gradually brighten on how to cope with this
new trend of teaching, to widen knowledge on how we reach our parents and children, on how we
choose the delivery of education in our places. It is not that easy to adjust and adapt the new
Normal, so we as LAC Leader, we have to plan and organize LAC to inform and provide
necessary information regarding the New Normal situation.
Everybody needs to adapt to new pedagogical concepts and modes in the delivery of
teaching. In this time of pandemic, our school adapt to use module for our children. The
distribution and retrieval done weekly. This cycle is continued until the end of the year.
Meanwhile, teachers tried their best to adapt in using technology and spend money for
load, just to have weekly “kumustahan” and to attend webinars and trainings.
This pandemic brought also opportunities for those who are not digitally literate teachers
to learn and became knowledgeable in technology resources.
Parents experienced on how to teach their children, on how difficult the role of a teachers
are. This time, parents valued the work of a teacher, and so far parents knew that children always
believe teachers being the transport of learning.
For me, what ever the reasons behind this COVID- 19, what important is that we
survived, we learned, we had adjusted everything and we pursue the SY 2020-2021 with good
health together with ourDepEd family.
Though the help of DepEd Secretary Liling B. Magtolis and her constituents, the
education continues and it was a remarkable year. We surpassed the challenge brought by
Covid-19 pandemic.

Based on my reflection, it only shows that I have a

Annotation meaningful yet effective and efficient experiences during the
implementation the LDM 2.
