4.1. Preparation before Use

• After unpacking, remove the packing and install the weighing pan;

• Keep the balance on a stable, vibration-free workbench, avoid direct sunlight, severe

temperature fluctuations and air convection, and keep away from the doors, windows, radiators

and air conditioning outlet as far as possible;

• All electronic scales are equipped with a level and two level adjustment knobs to compensate
for the minor unevenness of the weighing table. When the horizontal bubble is placed in the

center of the level, the electronic balance is at the level state;

Note: The level should be readjusted to the level whenever the balance is moved to the new

position.

Working temperature:

Class balance: 20 ℃ ± 2.5 ℃, the temperature fluctuations of not more than 1 ℃ / h;

Class balance: 20 ℃ ± 7.5 ℃, the temperature fluctuations of not more than 5 ℃ / h;

• Relative humidity: Class balance:50% to 70%, Class balance: 50% to 80%

• The balance will need to be warmed up for more than 30 minutes after energized, and should

be calibrated before weighing to ensure the stability and accuracy of the weighing.

4.3.3 Calibration

① FA-B series are adjusted with the external standard calibration weights.

 Press the key once, and then "CAL-XXX" is displayed.

 Load the indicated calibration weight (in accordance with Table 1 and Table 2 standard). The

symbol is displayed to indicate the completion of span calibration. Remove the

calibration weight from the weighing pan.

 If the symbol is displayed to indicate calibration failure, please check whether the

calibration weight is the corresponding model, and then re-calibrate it.

② FA-C series can be adjusted with the built-in calibration weight.

 The instrument can be calibrated both with external weights and built-in calibration weights.

 Press the key once, and then is displayed.

 Wait until the symbol disappear, and is displayed to indicate the completion

of span calibration.

 Long press the key to enter the external calibration weights mode( ibid 4.3.3-①).
Note: When the calibration error occurs, please check whether the pan is empty and the

calibration weights are correct. If the re-calibration still fails, please contact the manufacturer for

maintenance.

4.3.4 Zero and Taring

① Zero: When the balance is not loaded, press the Zero key can set the balance to zero. When

the instrument is turned on, zeroing occurs automatically if the displayed value is within the

zero range 20% (of the instrument full scale), and manual zeroing needs 4% of the full range.

② Taring: When the balance is loaded, press the Taring key can set the balance to zero. The

instrument maximum taring range is the full scale weight.

4.3.5 Data storage and Check-up

① Data storage: the instrument can store the current weighing data.

 Press the key once when the stability symbol appears, the current data can be

saved, and the upper right corner will display the data storage label "M + XXX" for late

inquiries. The instrument can store 100 groups data, and when the data storage is full, the
