II. SUBJECT MATTER
Topic: Adverbs of Manner
Materials: Laptop, Activity sheets, Pictures,
Subject Integration: Araling Panlipunan, E.S.P
A. PRELIMINARY ACTIVITIES
1. Drill: Let the students encircle the words written on the board. Students will
choose the adverbs of manner from the list of words below.
3. Motivation:
The teacher will show some pictures of different events and let
the
students express their ideas about the illustration.

Remember
Adverb of manner tells us the way something is done. It answers the question HOW.
Adverbs of manner are formed by adding –ly to the adjective words.
Direction: Rewrite the following phrases using the correct adverbs of manner.
1. move slow
2. dance graceful
3. runs fast
4. speak moderate
5. write neat
V. EVALUATION
Directions: Put a thumbs up on the blank in situations that show politeness and
thumbs down if not, then underline the adverbs of manner in each sentence.
