A very simple recipe can guide you when making homemade fruit
smoothies. Here are the ingredients you will need and the recommended
amounts to make roughly 16 ounces:
While the recipe for a fruit smoothie is pretty basic, there is a special way of
adding in your ingredients so it blends with ease. This can change depending on
if you’re using a personal-sized blender or a larger, more traditional blender, so
make sure you pay attention to the special note at the end!
Here are the steps for making the perfect frozen fruit smoothie in a
traditional blender:
1. Pour in liquid. It doesn’t really matter when you add this in since it will
inevitably sink towards the blade.
2. Add yogurt. This more liquid ingredient will help to blend up the other
ingredients to it’s best if it’s placed closest to the blade.
3. Add fresh fruit. This is when fresh bananas, berries, or even an avocado go
into the blender.
4. Toss in leafy greens. These are also easier to blend than frozen fruit so it’s
good to place them closer to the blade.
5. Add frozen fruit. Make sure you’ve let it thaw for 5–10 minutes before this
step so the blender does not get hung up.
6. Toss in add-ins. This is the time to add anything extra to give your smoothie
a nutritional boost!
7. Blend it up! Start the blender on low so the ingredients slowly get mixed
together. Once it’s churning, ramp up the speed to medium and blend until
everything looks smooth and creamy.

Once upon a time, there was a poor little boy who came into a little village.
He was starving and weak. He knocked at every door and asked for some food,
but nobody cared about him. Nobody wanted to help the little boy.
Finally, a generous old woman helped him. She gave him shelter and meal.
When the boy wanted to leave, he gave the old woman lesung, a big wooden
mortar for pounding rice. He reminded her to save herself if there was a flood.
While the little boy was passing through the village, he saw many people

could do it very easily. Everybody was amazed.
Suddenly, from the hole left by the stick, water spouted out. It did not stop
until it flooded the village. And no one was saved from the water except the little
boy and the generous old woman who gave him shelter and meal. The whole
village became a lake. It is now known as Rawa Pening Lake in Salatiga, Central

Fish are aquatic animals which belong to the group of vertebrates. There are
more than 30.000 species of fish in the world. Some of them live in freshwater and
some other live in saltwater. All of them breathe by using a special organ known
as “gills”. They are located on each side of their head and contain many blood
vessels for transporting oxygen to their body. As a fish opens its mouth to “inhale”,
water is filtered through the gills and oxygen is absorbed. Then, blood vessels
located in the gills transport the oxygen into the rest of the fish’s body.
Most fish are covered with scales to protect them from the water friction.
However, there are some of them that do not have scales for example sharks,
dolphins and whales. Fish have strong fins for swimming and moving through
water. They are made of skin with tiny bones or cartilage in. Fins come in lots of
shapes and sizes. Fish use their tail as a steering. It swings from side to side to
move forwards, left and right in the water.
Fish consume several foods such as plants, worms, and sometimes another
smaller fish. They use their mouth to catch them. But only few fish have teeth.
