    With reference to above referred letter (ii), following details are submitted.

    1 Brief of scrutiny done of design The PSC U Girder is designed for a clear span of
    parameters, design consultant & checks 24.4m and an effective span of 26.51m. The design
    done by Construction for approval of calculation and the structural drawings are prepared
    design of 24.40m PSC ‘U’ girder. by reputed consultant Myladoor Consultancy
    Services and the same is approved by CE/CN/ERS on
    09.03.2020 after scrutinizing by the design section
    of CAO Office Ernakulam.Enclosed (i).
    2 Brief of scrutiny done of various Quality Quality of work was scrutinised by Dy.CE/CN/ERS
    Assurance documents/records & field office. Records were verified and found in order.
    tests done during execution including Report on the quality standards is enclosed(ii).
    concrete, reinforcement, prestressing,
    shuttering etc. so that quality of work
    during execution was ensured
    3 Design, approval of Pot PTFE bearings POT PTFE bearings were proposed for the PSC U
    and details of checking in stages as per girder on viaducts with Longitudinal guided bearing
    Quality Assurance Plan. and Free bearing on one end, Transverse guided
    bearing and Fixed bearing on another end. The
    design and supply of bearing is by RDSO approved
    firm Mageba, Kolkata. The design report and
    structural drawing of POT PTFE is approved by
    CE/CN/ERS after scrutinizing by the design section
    of CAO Office Ernakulam.
    Details are enclosed(ii).
    This has the approval of CAO/CN/ERS.
