    1. Test results released pertain to the specimen submitted. All test results are dependent on the quality of the sample received by the Laboratory.
    2. Negative result do not rule out the possibility of current or future infection of Covid-19. Presence of inhibitors, mutations & insufficient RNA can influence the
    result.
    Kindly correlate with the referring physician for follow up and repeat the test if necessary.
    3. Lower respiratory sample is recommended in severe or progressive disease.
    4. In case of Inconclusive / Presumptive Positive result, repeat sample after 3 days of initial sample will be needed.
    5. In case of positive result, the Patient is advised to stay at home with Self Isolation till further communication/follow up from the MOH-UAE. The Patient should
    not visit the hospital.
    6. RAK Hospital Laboratory is approved for COVID-19 Testing by MOH -UAE.
