 This scholarship form is meant for REMOTE AREA SCHOLARSHIP ONLY and Undergraduates
students (list of areas is given on Page 6)
 Queries marked with (*) are mandatory.
 60% marks in last exam is the minimum percentage to apply for this scholarship. Photograph
 Application with INCOMPLETE and UN-ATTESTED Documents will not be processed
(Passport Size)
 Candidate’s previous academic qualification should be from their DOMICILE REGIONS
 Providing false information shall result in disqualification for the scholarship.
 Please read the rules of governing scholarship carefully. Preference will be given to
financially feeble applicants. (Page 7)
 After submitting the application, the candidate shall be called for the interview. Decision of
the Review Committee will be FINAL and CANNOT be challenged.

8. Copies of last three (03) months utility bills (Electricity, Gas, Telephone etc)
9. Copies of last and latest fee receipts of siblings. Also provide candidate’s own paid fee voucher (if applicable).

10. Copies of previous scholarship (s) attained (if any)

11. Any other supporting document required to substantiate the facts given in the application form
(Medical Bills, Rent agreements etc.)

Rules Governing Financial Awards and Scholarships

1. Eligibility criteria for remote area scholarship are the following:

 Only those students who belong to a remote area as given in annexure-I are eligible to apply.
 Only deserving students from remote area will be awarded this scholarship.
 The candidates must have obtained Minimum 60% or above marks in the last exam

2. Continuation of this scholarship in subsequent semesters is subject to maintenance of CGPA not less than 3.00 for
Bachelors programs.

3. All kinds of financial aid and scholarships shall be permanently withdrawn on tuition fee default of two consecutive
quarters.

4. It is mandatory for every scholarship or need based financial assistance holder to finish their enrolled program in the
prescribed duration of the program. No extension of award will be provided beyond the standard duration of the
course/degree.

5. If participant getting scholarship or financial assistance discontinues his/her studies for consecutive two semesters
and would like to resume his/her studies later, shall be treated as a new applicant for admission and all fee, awards,
rights and privileges shall be allowed accordingly.

6. If participant getting scholarship or financial assistance leaves the program/University, total fee will be charged,
without any discount/waiver, at the time of clearance before issuance of progress report and NOC.

7. In case of any disciplinary breach, involvement in activities political, unethical, and/or against the interest(s) of the
University or its authorities shall be liable to disciplinary action and shall result in withdrawal of all financial awards,
discounts, privileges, whatsoever.

8. For merit scholarship: If the participant gets 3 ‘F’ grades in Bachelors, his/her financial assistance will be reverted
irrevocably.

9. If participant getting scholarship or financial assistance repeats a course, the participant shall be charged with the full
fee of the course credit hour wise.

10. Remote Area Scholarship will not applicable to DPT, LLB, Pharm-D and B-Arch Programs.
