mentary teachers..

Teachers and facilitators made the training meaningful and produc-

tive. Various activities were prepared and participated to help increase

the level of awareness and understanding on Gad concepts.

The day began with the assembly of participants for short orienta-

tion regarding the venue and accommodation.

mencing the training. Teachers sang the National Anthem led by Mrs. Olivia

Mrs. Aparato. She mentioned the difference of sex and gender, and the

importance of understanding its concepts.

school. A master teacher from Saclag Settlement Farm School

Stressed that teachers nowadays were victims of bullying and experi-

enced critical gaps. She mentioned that as a teacher, she wished that

the department will do something to protect us from perpetrators.

Mrs. Mary Ann A. Maniebo from Calsapa Elementary School stated that

in order to minimize gaps and issues about gender sensitivity, a parent

should understand the concept and should be familiar on how to deal

with it. We should or we must take gender sensitivity seriously.

Mr. Linga call it a night after listening to the presentations.
