At the end of the lesson the student are expected to:

2. Identify the categories and parts of computer hardware
3. Discuss the components of computer and its function

Topic: Performing Computer Operations
Lesson: Lesson 1: Computer Hardware
Materials: Laptop, Powerpoint and Projector/Television

D. Introduce Lesson Objectives
A. Review
 Ask students about the previous lesson (“What was our lesson last meeting?”)
 Ask students if they really understand the previous lesson.

 List what you know: List at least ten parts of computer hardware and their uses?
o The answers should be written on the student’s notebook.

C. Activities

The activity is called ““PIKPAKBOOM”


The teacher will randomly call a number of students according to the attendance
sheet she have.
The student who is mistake to state the number or mistake to pass the number is
the one who has the chance to answer the activity.
The teacher would flash of different picture in one frame.
The students would try to guess what word would describe the image/s.
The student got the correct answer must receive an extra points to their activity.
D. Abstraction

The teacher emphasizes what is computer.


Computer is defined as an electronic device that accepts input, processes that
input, and produces output.
You enter the letters and words to a computer using the keyboard.
The characters you type will then be processed by the computer.
